Here is a comparison between the Cop Joker and Bank Robber Joker. The head of the bank Robber has obv been stripped of the make up .. the scars on Bank Robber seem a little too extensive really when compared to the plice Joker...when the police joker comes out im sure somone will paint it and add the make up and i think it has a very good chance of looking amazing. the only problem will be the hair i think its safe to guess the hair will be slicked back

am I the only one thinking HT is milking this joker crap a bit too much? time to let it go.
I think they're milking the updates a bit much. If they'd done 3 well made unique figures without the bits and pieces to improve the first figure, it'd be a different matter.
I loved Ledger's performance and other than the Nurse Joker, I'd easily spend HT figure money for the figures they've done.
Yeah the cop look was brief, but I really enjoyed the look of Ledger without the make up, the dark around his eyes looked so evil, more sinister than his Joker makeup.
Nurse Joker I enjoyed the gag, but I don't care too much for the look of it to drop $150 on a figure of it.

Yeah,I agree to a certain extent. See,Bank Robber Joker is a vital figure IMO because that was a fantastic scene and was the first time we saw him on screen. Then of course there's regular Joker,which is obviously worth getting (even if you do have to buy a custom head). And I could even see a nurse Joker figure because that was a scene where he was on screen for a few minutes and another vital part of the movie because that'w when he gets in Harvey Dent's head and turns him bad.
Cop Joker's not a bad idea at all but to have to spend $150 on a figure of him from a 5 second part just isn't worth it to me. They could be doing Alfred,Lucious,but instead they insist on milking this Joker crap.
There was a time I was frustrated to get more Jokers and not the other guys, but at this point, I've embraced that we'll either get more Jokers or nothing at all, HT hasn't not done the other guys because they're putting resources into Joker, they've chosen not to do the others and only chose to continue making even Jokers because they make money, otherwise they'd be done with TDK altogether now.

For some reason, the new cop joker image (the one holding the garand) has strangely grown on me, in the past couple of days. It looks sick all of a sudden. Before it was just 'eh' to me, but somehow, now, everytime i look at it, i see heath right away, and the quality is just jumping right out. I think someone else on my computer changed the monitor settings, he looks the teeniest bit more shadowed, and it's working.
Personally, i'm still absolutely loving the joker releases, and don't be fooled, these WILL sell well. People will snap them up, so as long as the demand is there, licenses are sweet, and the dollars and cents line up (no doubt), they're granted for making more of them, in my eyes anyway
Now, bring on the human fleshed, house cleaning V9 joker i've heard about

totally agree with u! it keeps looking better and better everytime i look at it. if u imagine him placed on your shelf with your other figures, holding the garand its just amazing

And at this point, I see no big deal in that. If I thought multiple Jokers was delaying/preventing other Nolan Batman figures, I'd be very vocally pissed, but at this point, I don't see them slowing down with their other lines or anything because of these, so let them go. I will say, I want to see a RAMBO before a 4th Joker or 3rd Batman

I want a Rocky from Rocky Balboa and a new Rambo! I personally am not going to get any more Jokers or Batmans. I'm completley happy with the ones I got. But if people do want these than like you said,I don't see a big deal with that.

Here is the thing, we aren't talking about Sideshow or Hasbro here. The average pricepoint of a MMS figure has always been $150 so saying "3 Jokers for $150 each!??!" really is like saying "3 Hasbro Star Wars for $8.00 each?!?!" Its just the way its been. As for the figures, the "updates" were bonuses really. The first figure "The Joker" was done before the final film edit was completed and inaccurate in many ways despite being a fantastically done figure. The second figure "The Joker in Bank Robber Disguise" included a second head that could be used for the v1 figure but not made specifically for it like the Jack Sparrow release. It also included a gun that was heavily featured in trailers and posters and people were screaming should have been included. This figure "The Joker in Cop Disguise" we aren't sure what's included yet but let's assume the minimum. So the minimum looks like a Jacket with Grenade rig and hand with figure pointing maybe an additional head. These would be the first time the "updates" were included that weren't capable of being used on the original figure. Now if the MMSDX equals automatic 2 in 1s, then we'd be getting a full Joker costume with rig, gloves, shoes and head whereas the Joker costuming is very detailed and would have demanded a higher pricepoint that Harvey or Clark.
When you really look at the game footage Hot Toys hasn't committed a huge sin as many are proclaiming. While its expensive to have "The definitive Joker" because you'd either have to fight on eBay for the pieces or plop down $450 (at minimum because you know DX will be a price increase) to get it but that is our fault for being anal retentive collectors, there are collectors out there who are still happy with their first purchase and have called it done.
