Same with me, I hardly watch American tv shows. Doctor Who and the like have spoiled me.I'm continually amazed by the quality of British television. Yes, we have some A-level shows too, but there seems to be at least as much coming out of that tiny island as the whole of the US!

Hey, thanks for that, you patronising Yank. I'm always surprised when anything good comes out of America too.
Like Britain really needs your approval...

Hey, **** you! I'm a dual US-UK citizen!
There's no such thing, but please, let's not argue.
Anyway, no one in Britain is begging any foreigners to make us feel loved.
Okay, then I guess I'm a figment of your imagination. I legally hold a US and a UK passport. Hey, do you have an internet? Why not use it and take a look at [How deeply and foolishly wrong you are being?]
Yeah, I mean whatever the legal position you're either one thing or another, you know? Being British is a state of mind and being American is another state of mind and you can't be both. Obviously, you can become British if you want to be, but then you can't be American as well. Or vice-versa. Holding a passport means nothing. I could print off fifty passports and call myself the King of Tonga if I wanted but it wouldn't make me anything other than British.
I hear the Americans are having some kind of vote today to decide on who their next king is going to be. Do you get to take part in that and vote in our elections as well? Because that doesn't seem right.

You don't get to tell me who I am. The US and UK governments have given me what I have and that's that.
If I want to affectionately refer to the land of my ancestors as "tiny" that's none of your business.
Ok. So now you attack me and anyone else who has a CS issue. Then you attack me because you don't like the way I phrased my compliment to the BBC. Then you tell me that my citizenship doesn't exist. Then you tell me what I am.
Having fun?
I think you're being a bit over-sensitive. I haven't attacked you at all, I've commented on your posts. It is my business if you patronise my country, in the sense that it's okay for me to respond to that. Or anything you say. And vice-versa.
Your citizenship exists in a legal sense, sure, it's just not something that I personally agree with.
I haven't told you what you are. I don't know you, and anyway, my opinion shouldn't matter to you.
Yeah, I care when someone repeatedly attacks me on a message board. And it's not more your country than it's mine. That I get to have two countries and you just have one is just life. Again, you don't know me or the life I've lived.
Now, I'll ask you kindly, stop hijacking this thread.
