Underworld, I wouldn't buy from you because you seem a tad overly sensitive about these things - ie taking it so personally - that the very idea of conducting a transaction with you seems like too much of a hassle.

Noone is under any obligation to buy from you and neither should they be made to feel guilty because you feel entitled to their money for no other reason than you feel like you deserve it.

No one said they had to buy from me. I'm not sure where you're getting that from. I merely made a comment about having one for sale in the market. I'd buy from anyone in this thread because I know we like things in good condition and know it would be packed right.

I'm getting it from you own words. I wont bother quoting. You can review them for yourself. :lol

No, you didn't. When someone found a cheaper one you stated "Guess you didn't see mine in the marketplace". It just came off a bit grumpy.

Your comment about doing another member a "favour" by holding onto the figure only to sell it also adds to it. That's sort of where this is coming from, I believe.

Ok, but PT says I said it which I didn't. He didn't say I implied it.

If you think you can put me off this thread with your little digs you're wrong. And I won't sink down to that level either because I know that's what you want.

Sooo, anyone care to guess when the preorder for 10 will go live? I'll guess March.

I love how in the beginning a lot of people were giving frazzled buyers who had received damaged figures a ton of crap, and now look at you guys. Whining and snapping at each other like hormonal chihuahuas, and you don't even have a fracked up figure as an excuse.

Sheesh. No wonder this thread was frozen for awhile.

Anyway, sent off my Eleven to get his repaint. The more I compared his head to my new Hot Toys Avengers Cap, the more disappointed I was. Huge difference in the quality of the paint job, in my opinion. My Eleven had this weird red rim around his eyes that made it look like he was hungover from some crazy party.

Yeah the paint jobs look pretty amateurish to me as well. People argue that it's cause they are new and a small team, but I argue back "then why are these figures so expensive?" When you can get Enterbay figures at $180 or less it's weird to have to get this for what... $170 or something?

Yeah, and since I got the signed edition I spent well over $170.

I got a Medicom Snape from Sideshow (as my Christmas wish was granted), and I'd say his face looks a little more realistic to me than Eleven's. And I know how everyone dumps on Medicom for putting out garbage. Snape really does look awesome, though.

But people said the paintjob was HT quality! :lol

It's not like the WORSTEST PAINT JOB EVARZ, but to compare it to, say, the HT Avengers Cap, is, in my opinion, a sure sign that they need to get their eyes checked.

In my opinion it did stand up to HT quality the time it was revealed and stuff, but now it's a bit behind. I definitely wouldn't say it's worse than Snape, as in my eyes Snape looks a bit too dead.

What, you mean in the official product photos?

Hmmm. I guess I don't see the dead look myself. The likeness is so spot on. I'm just glad he doesn't look stoned or wasted. No normal person has that red rim around their eyes.

No, once the first few production pictures surfaced, the so-called WIP ones.

Sculpt-wise it's spot on but I'm not too keen on the paint. It looks a tad too yellowish pale and flat. Of course, just my opinion. In the light conditions I have in my home, I never see a stoned/wasted look on the Doctor figures.

It's the fairly thick red rim on the eyes, not the expression itself, that gave mine a hung-over look.

What a milestone...500 pages and 5,000 replies. Sadly, we've only got one single figure to show for it. :pfft:
