My local supermarket finally got some of the blind bagged Character Building figures in so I tried my luck.

I got,
Supreme Dalek
Cyber Leader
Amy Pond

No rare ones so I'll probably trade them for more Cybermen or Weeping Angels.

I got the latest newsletter from FPI yesterday and it's like a celebration of bad Leela merchandise

Between the 2 CO efforts, the Biff Bang Pow monstrosity and the pathetic minibust it's a pretty sad state of affairs.

Looks like Big Chief and/or WGP are the last hope for a decent version of my favorite companion.

Apart from a select few i really have given up on the classic line, not just the inconsistant QC that gets me down on the products but the pricing of them. i cannot afford to buy the sets when all i want is one or two from the pac, especially when some of the packs contain blatent repaints. The Sontaran CO figures are brilliant but i dont want a Leela to go with it, so in a low end job with rising prices for re-releases im sticking soley to the NU-who line or Ebay for single figures after release.

Me too.

I'm selling off most of my collection ( even some of my Tom Baker era stuff ) to help raise funds for other things and am not regretting it as my enthusiasm for that scale is almost nil due to the declining quality of the figures and the ever increasing prices.

The only other figure I would consider buying at this point is the "Web of Fear" Yeti that is known to have been sculpted although it'll probably get bundled with something else I don't want to make it more of a hassle to army build ( I want 3-5 of them ).

I got 2 more Character Building figures today,
11th Doctor ( light colored jacket )
Silent

I'll keep the Doctor to go with the series 2 Amy and trade the Silent for another Cyberman or Weeping Angel.

"10th Planet" Cyberman ( rerelease )
Flamethrower Dalek ( minimal retooling of an existing mold )
Roboman ( the body is rehashed from a Primeval figure )

£34.99 for a 3-pack of rehashed figures is taking the piss.
