Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I can't wait for both these sets. Had Pink Peri come with the fat controller I probably would pass but I am a sucker for zombie cybermen reveals. :lol

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

To be honest, it's time for Charactor Options to do some different companions. 3 Leelas and 3 Peris before we get any others? Come on, what about Sarah Jane (classic), Nyssa, Susan, Jamie, Ian, Ace........

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

My figures keep falling over if you look at them the wrong way. Does anyone know of a good figure stand for these buggers?

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I use the Mattel WWE figures stands, my brother bought a ton of them and i stole the stands. They are small and usually black so they dont stand out on a shelve and have a single peg that allows for some better poses than the figures usually allow.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

A peg? But DW figures don't have a peg hole. How does that work? I have good luck with my figures, but there are a few problem ones.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

The newer ones of Matt Smith do, and McCoy from the TARDIS set does. I assumed they all did because they ones i wanted in better poses do have holes. Sorry about that!

My 8th Doctor doesn't have one and his left leg is about 1mm larger than his right so he's sort of... leaning :rotfl

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Oh, no problem. I thought you had a solution. It was weird when they put the hole in a few random figures. I thought it meant they were going to do it to all of them going forward but that didn't happen.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Well, there's no thread for this any more, so I thought I'd post this separately. I got the Fleshbowl Creator, and it's a VERY cool backdrop. I finally got a replacement Ganger Doc (I got the soft-effect one) to replace my last one because the hand fell out of it. So I used the old one for this photo shoot. Anyway, here's some creepy gooey fun.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures? (3 3/4 scale)

Nice! I love can't imagine ever buying this piece though. What is the goo like compared to the goo in the packets w/ figures?

Re: New Doctor Who Figures? (3 3/4 scale)

The goo I head became pretty much a solid block and now my wife can't make sexual jokes about it.

Oh, I used the goo from the packets for this. The stuff that comes with it comes in a powder form and you mix it together. It's actually a fun effect but not permanent in any way.

I remember there was a rumor about scale change a while back that had the various DW forums on fire for a while. :lol
