This film illustrates one of the ways of producing an action figure and follows the figure's digital creation from first scanning session with actor Ian McNeice through to finished, decorated, physical prototype.

That looked like a slow, pain staking process to get perfect. Great turn out for the figure too, with the likeness being pretty spot on, there have been a few release i have skipped over in the past year though i might spend a little on this.

Thanks for sharing the video. :)

It's nice to see an actor being so enthusiastic about his figure.

I'll be buying the Winston Churchill figure to use as Harcourt from the Big Finish story "The Renaissance Man" as Ian McNiece also played that character.

Not sure what I'll do with the Dalek that comes with it, ebay is the likely destination.

I'm still holding out for a Rory, don't feel like i have all the companions yet from the new series's.

Since i can't afford the Big Chief versions i'm still collecting these, it'd be nice to have all the companions.

Last I heard Rory was meant to be released first as an Exclusive for the Cardiff Doctor Who Experience exhibition and a slightly different version will appear in another set.

There will be no single carded release.

Rory was pictured (in a very small form) at the end of that video. So a sculpt does exist.

Is there a comprehensive checklist of what has been released? The couple of sites I went to were a bit convoluted. I want the Daleks, so I figured I'd compile a list of all of them released.

There definitely will be a single carded Rory mate i know as i have pre-ordered them for my shop and i buy direct from Character Options. They are hoping to have him out by October retail at £9.99 and sold to retailers in solid cases but there will only be one production run though i was told.

The person I got the info from a while ago did say plans are subject to change so clearly they have which is great news for Rory fans and also for me as I'll save a tenner.

We have a comprehensive list thanks to the effort of a member of a doctor who figure site. I have copied the lists and can forward to you.

Does any one know why it has taken so long to get a Rory? pretty much since series 5 episode 3 he has been a regular cast member (bar the times he was dead :rotfl )

I'm just glad there is one in the works.

CO's logic can be somewhat erratic so there could have been any number of reasons why it's taken this long.

It's cool for Rory fans that it'll finally happen but frankly I'm more intrested in whether several Classic figures that have reached prototype stage will actually be released or not.

Where is everyone's best bet for these in terms of etailers? It'd been pretty difficult to find some of the newer let alone the older ones.
