T3 has this Arnie collectible.....T2 has this Arnie collectible .... Plus the Neca stuff, Sideshow stuff and all the endos
T1 has.....
NOTHING in an Arnie likeness

Plus T2 has the McFarlane figures and the old kenner line if they count. A point well illustrated DinoLast.

From Hot Toys Newsletter:

We'd like to find out which character in Terminator movies you'd like to see in our MMS line in the near future...T-800 from The Terminator, T-800 from Terminator 2, T-X from Terminator 3 or Kyle Reese from Terminator Salvation? Make your choice via our POLL today! Oooops...If you cannot find your #1 choice, tell us your thought via "Leave A Comment" function on our Blog in Poll section, it works as well! Remember, the fastest you vote, the soonest to make your dream comes true!

Oh yeah.

I hope they ultimately make all of their proposed 4 as there are fans for each. I'd consider buying young Kyle. But they should have a series of figures around T1 and T2 beyond a single T-800 from each. And any T3 TX would surely have to be accompanied by the Final Battle T-850.

I think people are voting for the TX mainly because of how the figure would look.

Imagine this in 1/6 scale. Complicated to say the least. Regardless of the movie and even if people don't like the design it would be an impressive figure if they done it right.

As well as that there have been no poseable TX's figures without skin. Not even custom from what I've seen. I would probably be tempted to buy it even though the movie is terrible. As long as I get a nice T-800 T2 figure , a Kyle Reese and a Tech Noir Arnold I will be happy but like many have said I'll be most likely buying everything. I'm hoping for a T-1000. :lol:rock

totally agreed on this. I think t2 has been done to death by various companies and its time for some stuff from the first movie. That said i still would like to see ht tackle t2 just because they are the top dogs when it comes to these scale figures.

But really a kyle reese, sarah connor and arnie figures in various modes i.e battle damaged, tech noir nightclub/gunstore/policestation outfits/endo mode. Thats what i want to see. I suppose everyone would be pleased if they made both t1 and t2. That would be the ideal situation and i think ht will go down this road. They only made one effort at a t1 figure and the head sculpt wasn't great tbh.

Imagine what they could do with the first endo i.e the battle damaged versions from the warehouse. That would be awesome....

completely agreed but surely most people would rather see 1 TX fgure than 8 T-600's different by the tinest thing. :monkey4:lol

Well anything outside Cameron's world of Terminator has no spot on my shelves.

The TX (Kristanna Loken) tried to pull off a T-1000 performance and ended up looking like a ****** which in hand fit in to the movie.

Gay.

.

Thats what I've been trying to stick to. I haven't bought anything from Salvation. A new terminator movie came and went like that , I enjoyed it but it felt like it wasn't from the same franchise to me. :monkey1

I wouldn't word it that T2 has been ''done to death'' because that sounds like I'd be discouraging any more figures from that film. I very much want more figures from that film its just that The Terminator (1984) has sweet F all right now and needs attention first.

Me too. I have nothing from Salvation but rated it a good 7-8/10. I won't give in either.

Hopefully a few more T1 voters will come out of the woodwork. I don't need to see it pass out T2 just enough to demonstrate to Hot Toys that it'll be worth going to the extra trouble of acquiring likeness rights in addition to the basic license because there'll be enough buyers at the end of it all.
