NEW HT PREDATOR, 'Dutch' full spec and hi-res pics

For those concerned with the height, I don't see anything wrong with how the P1 turned out.

Shoulder to shoulder, pectoral to pectora, these guys are dead on, even the bottom of the mandibles is pretty much dead even, the height difference is because of the difference in the slopes of the heads, P2 slopes higher up, P1 runs more straight back and that shaves about 1/4 an inch off his height and creates the difference between him and the P2.

No one was really comparing him to P2. They were comparing him specifically to the P2 Elder since they're supposed to be exactly the same and you can clearly see they aren't.

I'm starting to think the height problem is more to do with the new neck. Because you can see in this pic:

Even the Arnie head seems short.

Dutch is so cool! Having this and with Pred 1 and Vader coming soon, I am one happy freak!

I might have to attempt one of the neck mods but the issue is only apparent from low angles or where the neck seam looks very obvious. Also might water treat the jacket and harness cos the pockets are all crinkled up. Overall tho very happy with this figure

I did the neck mod with Arnold an is totally recommended..The overall look and proportions looks infinitely better.
The neck mod Is very easy to do and the results are noticiable...besides if you compare Dutch and Predator,the height is more accurate then..Try it

Neck mod complete using Morbo's pics as reference, looks better, might trim off a bit more I dunno. I want to try the jacket on again first though, to see how it looks. Its drying along with the combat harness after some water treatment.

Yeah i pointed this out a while back in the thread. The height issue is non existant because none of the preds are accurate in terms of height. Its obviously the neck/head height thats the problem as his body is actually nearly the same height as the other pred figures. Even in the above pic hes nearly as tall as p2 without his mask and the p2 has the mask on. The height issue has people fixated. Its not even that big a deal at all. Arnies neck is too long on the figure so if you lower his neck then you probably have an accurate height difference between the two figures.

As long as he's bigger then dutch and billy which he is it doesn't really matter that much. Hes still the best ht predator figure realeased so far by a country mile

Was waiting for some natural sunlight to hit my plant pot area to get that hot jungle feeling.

The harness was still drying after water treatment but i prefer how it looks much darker. Makes Dutch looks sweaty. Had a slight panic attack when I couldnt re-attach the right arm after taking the vest off! All fine in the end. Also (i think someone else here mentioned this too) watch out for 2 parts of the gun that fall off really easily - the shell casing ejection port cover and the grenade aim sight that pops up at the end - I think thats what they are anyway! Love this figure!

What does water treatment entail? I've never tried it. The effect of being wet, and the resulting darker colour makes your ammo harness look more film accurate. It should be dark green, almost black.
