Yes and No. The item is exclusive to ToyHunters in HK which is Hot Toy's own brick and mortar store. Many of the ToyHunter exclusives become Sideshow Exclusives as well. The Mark 02 Stand was a ToyHunter exclusive that also was a SSC exclusive. So its not an SSC Exclusive in the purist sense of the word but I have no doubts that the headset will be SSC's exclusive offering.

Ahhh, well, I plan to get Dutch from SSC no matter, so all the better to have the most complete, but of all the exclusives I've seen from HT, this really seems weak. The Mark 2 stand and the Predator's chestburster were great items, a headset used for less than 5 minutes of the film and not that cool looking seems weak.

I think hot toys are going to make a battle damaged dutch. It has to happen.
Hopefully he will be covered in mud , include the bow and arrow he uses and have an awesome screaming head.

My guess is, if they do a BD Dutch, it'll be after he's fallen in the river. Dirty face, maybe a mud colored skin tone for the rubber, but no mud effects on it and and just a bruised up face. Still include all his primitive weapons, but I don't see them making the muddy texture on the body.

The paint would probably not do well on the rubber skin one would think...as for BD versions one of Dutch with the primative weapons, torch looks like it'd be a no brainer especially considering the plummeling he took at the end. As well as the Pred who at the very end under the log had almost his entire body covered in green blood...

That's why I figure at best, a greyish toned muscle body might happen, but no mud effect.

As for customizers, sure they can do it, but I think you take a gamble doing something like that to the muscle body, longterm, that could cause premature deterioration of the rubber. Muscle body figures say not to add paint/water and things like that to the rubber to keep it from breaking down.

its strange , I'm much more excited about this guy than the actual predator itself.

Well of course, why wouldn't you be? I'm the exact same way, this is the best arnold sculpt we've seen since...............forever!

hmm.. didn't think about the paint messing up the body. Surely there is something that can go on rubber. Isn't the skin tone painted on the bodys with some type of paint ?.

hmm.. didn't think about the paint messing up the body. Surely there is something that can go on rubber. Isn't the skin tone painted on the bodys with some type of paint ?.

I've tried this before using a Rambo II body, I made a "Mud" Rambo variant. When it dried it looked sweet but it was effortless to flake the paint off once handled.

If Hot Toys ever does make a "Damaged" or "Dirty" rubber body i'd imagine they would work the colours into the actual rubbered material.

I mentioned before that the hair might be affecting people's judgment of the actual facial likeness. I defy anyone to say that touched up pic isn't the spitting image of Arnie. Sculpting short hair is tricky business, it never seems to come out quite right.

I actually dislike the alternate hair as far as cut, looks more like T2 Arnie than Predator, color's nice though.

I prefer the photoshopped one in general. It's got more Arnie features, which while they may not be film accurate, does translate to a better representation of Au'nold.

in reference to the paint on the muscle bodies. HT has a figure from Resident Evil out there with paint on his body. here lemme find a pic

that little wound on his chest is painted on, as far as i can tell, and he's sitting right here in front of me. i think something could be figured out.

Looks fantastic! Although I'm not digging the look of the muscle body, especially how it integrates with the head at the neck. But I also feel the muscles are not large enough for Arnold either, it should be just a bit more bulky.
I'm displaying mine in his shirt so it doesn't matter anyways.

Does anyone still have the forbidden preview pics? It'd be nice to compare the two head sculpts to see if anything sculpted was changed.
