So beautiful :drool

Those pics in the dark look awesome! But I would never buy one without seeing pics in the light.

Ok here's a few more pics. Some with flash and some without. Keep in mind my room is very dark so pictures without flash did have a tiny spot light that was used. I used my 1:4 scale queen maquette for size reference. The queen is still a work in progress with several pieces that still need to be added.

Yes the queen is very blue. It was painted to look like the queen in the Aliens:Tribe book. I didn't choose the color it was already painted when I got it. Its a pretty rare piece so had to take what I could get. I don't plan on displaying the two together.

Well... if your warrior is too orange, your queen is too blue...
Beautiful kits, but the color looks very saturated on both.
Agreed.

So you where the one who got that one. I was trying to get him to come down in price since I would want to repaint it but, he wouldn't get to my level. Plus, I was waiting for an answer on a raw kit but, the guy was ignoring my pms for some reason. Then to finally tell me it was sold.:dunno

Wow, that really sucks about the broken leg. It looks like a pretty clean break and could probably be fixed pretty easily but you would have to pin it to make it a little stronger. I believe mine and yours are the same paint scheme. I totally feel you on wanting it to be perfect for your money. I remember when I was 16 and $700 might just as well been $7000. Truth be told the paint job on most pieces like this is not much better. I own several Cinemaquettes and if you get up close you notice issues with the paint and they are $2000 pieces. Maybe if it was done by Joe Dunaway or a well known paint master it would come close to perfect but with a price tag to match. I think the paint job is at least on par with Sideshow.

Looks like some paint rub took place during shipping. How was it packed? To be honest except for the paint rub and of course the broken leg, it actually looks ok.

I do agree the paint scheme doesn't match watch you asked for but it's really in my books not in the crap catergory.

IMO, your paint app looks good. The highlights could be more cream colored instead of white though. The damage is obvious. I still think he just just refund you enough to have it fixed and touched up. I guess that's not the paint app that was advertised but, then again the pics you saw are in the dark.

I still don't believe what some of you are writing here.
16 years old kid saved for a $700 figure, received it damaged, and it didn't look like the thing he payed for, asked for refund and at that point seller stopped replying to his mails.
He shared his experience here, and some of you jump on HIM?! What the hell did he did wrong, and why the hell would he get partial refund to fix the statue that DOESN'T look like the the figure in pictures.
What does it matters if pictures were taken in dark, it's obvious that paint is different, and I mean completely different, not in shades or areas, the whole figure was painted inferiorly and with different color!
