Okay, here we go.

Look at this from my point of view. I bought the painted statue I saw in the pics Sabres linked up here. What I GOT was nothing compared to what I thought I was getting. It was just..bleh. Lets not forget the $745 I paid for this also. I spent months saving this money up, waited months to get what I ordered with it, finally do, and it's crap. I tell you all the problems with it, you agree to give me a full refund. I went ahead and opened the case just to be safe. Couldn't open it for the $380, could for the $365 though. I get the $365 back. I'm freaking out because of this whole situation, you aren't responding to my emails, i'm recieving no money..etc.

Understand now? Do you see what that looks like? Do you see why i've been so pissed?



Okay, no, don't act like the victim here. You originally said it would take two weeks to make. Then theres this "I can't paint because it's cold" thing. I'm not some painter/sculpter, but that seemed pretty strange. And I didn't throw a fit or anything, I emailed you back saying I understood (or something similar to that).
After I emailed you all of the problems with it, you told me a bunch of things like "Sorry you're not pleased with my work" etc. Then at the end of the email you say "I can make it better" (the statue). I'm thinking...what? You purposely painted it with a huge drop in quality compared to the pictures of what I thought I was getting? What the hell?



Dude, it wasn't that I was mad because it wasn't like something from SS, I was mad because IT WASN'T ANYWHERE NEAR THE QUALITY OF THE ONE IN THE PICTURES. WHICH IS THE ONE I ORDERED! The quality of your "personal works" has a huge gap from what you ADVERTISE!
Yeah, I agree, it was a serious mistake to sell your pile of dogcrap to someone like me, and anyone else on the planet. Once again, you're acting like the victim.

Do you not sleep, eat, shower, anything? You can't take some time to check your emails? If you're going to sell high-end (well, not really...) collectibles to people you need to pay attention to, and check your emails everyday. I filed the claim because if I didn't in a few days, and hadn't goten my cash back I'd just have to rely on you to give me it back. It's a little hard to trust someone who sent me a pile of dogcrap, instead of the $700 statue that I ordered.

I'm glad you feel frustrated with my behavior, it gives me joy that i'm causing trouble to the guy who did this to me. Yeah, I need my money back.
Not sure where you're going with the "don't send it back" thing though.

I curse, and punch holes in walls/doors when someone has basically ripped me off because that actual person is not in front of me to take the place of those doors/walls. What does this whole situation say about your "moral character", huh? You truly are a great man, keep advertising amazing statues, then send a pile of crap instead. Apparently, according to you, thats what a good person does.

Lastly, I would like to say. I'm not a bad person, I get angry. If you are going to pull something like this, you should know what to expect.

I was fine with everything you said here until that. Thats the epitome of immature internet behavior.

You may disagree with someone but there's really no need to name call or say that a person's work is crap, its uncalled for.


The point is the seller did offer to make things right. You didn't give the seller a chance to do that and you left that out in your recounting of the events.


Its important not to leave out details like this as it looks as if you're only out to make the seller out to be a bad guy.

When I first heard about this, and learned about those pictures from this Locusta (or whatever his name was..)person, I thought it was cool that this talented sculptor is bringing this guys awesome digital (or whatever) pictures to life. I was happy that I'd be owning one.

It's not like i'm some angry name calling troll who goes from forum to forum, page to page throwing a fit about everything. I'm a nice person, but when you do something like this, it's going to piss me off.
What did you all expect?

Did you even tell him you were going to open a paypal dispute?

Agree with this for sure, but hey, the seller's offering to refund the rest of your money and you get to keep the statue for what it's worth (depending on just how bad the damage is, which, like Sabres, I'd also like to see).

Are we cool now? I understand holding a grudge, but let's at least be glad something like this was resolved. I'm pretty sure that two days ago, you didn't even think you'd get the rest of the money back. Well, it's happened. That counts for something, I'd say.

He had said he would refund me, I waited a couple of days. And at that point I figured things were pretty much going downhill. So the case was opened. If he agrees to refund me, he doesn't get to do it whenever he wants.. Either way, I would have had to open the case.

It hasn't really happened yet. But when I see that $380 in the Paypal balance thingy, I'll be happy and move on.

Ultimately, It's your own fault Lar'ja Thwei.
Those pics he posted look great but, they were taken in a very dark area. Very stylized pics. If you really want to know what you are going to get, don't buy something for $700 that you have only seen in pics taken in the dark. Always ask for more pictures and ones that are lighted.
Posidienyoung is a good guy. Slow with e-mails and sending things, yes he is definitely slow with that but, he still makes things straight. I think you should let him keep the cost of the kit. Since he offered to refund you AND let you keep the kit. Just chalk it up as you bought the kit.
I'd like to see pictures too.
Just to compare it to mine. Maybe see if I can get the same $ for mine..lol

I wanted, and ordered, what was seen in those pictures. I can take this statue and put it in the dark and it's still going to look far less than amazing.
And there are so many other problems besides the color of it.. I don't know what to tell you people.

I'm not some expert photographer guy. If the one in the pics was actually painted the same as the one in my house, he should have let me know that those pictures were messed with. I just figured he was an amazing painter.

Ok maybe, I jumped the gun by saying that but, try putting it in the dark and taking pics. lol No really, I need to see pics. Will be watching closely for them. I'm really interested in seeing what you received.
Hope you learned a lesson from all this. Always and I mean ALWAYS get pictures of what you are buying. I mean lighted pics of the actual item. It could have saved you the hassle.

btw, mine actually looks better in person. I must also say that this kit took A LOT of work to finish.
