looking at the pics again, the paint app is really great. Anyone know how much the raw kit went for? how limited the raw kit is? and if its even still available? What happened to the CM type base for this as well?

Here comes to update the 2nd run is going to kick off
The kit is limited to 89 set only and the 2nd run will provide rest 69 sets at the same time.

The price for 2nd run will be $380 plus $45 shipping to worldwide. The weight of kit is 6kg , it's very heavy and huge. I think you will be satisfied when you receive it.

ahh.............ok, thx, didnt think to even read the thread . Would be quite a pricey project once all painted up, not sure...........especially with SS releasing a Giger maquette, but they would prolly be about the price, but this one would be bigger. I only need one Alien related piece in my collection.

its a dark olive-black/ brown colour!not easy to describe...

the bust sure as hell is ,but i still love it. this kit blows the SS maquette out of the water imo. The crouched poses SS keeps releasing is beginning to be quite lame.

This sculpture is beautiful. I wish I had something like this to display with my Cinemaquette Predator. However, I honestly don't think they could do any better than this.

I think it's a bit small to display well with the CM Predator. Better off displayed with Sideshow's Alien pieces.

Aren't the Sideshow pieces in 1/4 scale? I was thinking that since this is listed as being in 1/3 scale that it would look right next to the 1/3 scale cm I have.

Ah, I see. Did not know that. I suppose I could just get the CM Alien or perhaps the Giant SS Alien 3 maquette some day to go with Predator, or I could just have the Predator by himself. I haven't decided yet.

No, I don't have it. I wouldn't know where to begin as I have zero modeling skills.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Sideshow Giger Alien as well. I wasn't quite awestruck by the Aliens Warrior Maquette by Sideshow and am hoping for something epic from them with Giger Alien.

It's hard to say.
The Warriors where the smallest of all the Aliens so it very well could be 1/3rd scale.
This kit is a lot smaller than the CM Alien. The head and body is about the same size as the Alien3 maquette but, the legs are shorter. From what I'm told it is about the same size as the Sideshow warrior. Which makes me think it's more on the 1/4 side than the 1/3rd side. Still a nice kit and I'm happy to have one. Now I must get back to getting him together...
