I love them both, thought I'll probably only get blue and red. This is the first PF from Sideshow that I can say it looks like it was copied straight from a panel in a comic book.

I completely agree. But I also think the new hulk pf, new cap pf, and new Thor pf also look that way. Hawkeye too actually. That's why I like the line so much.

As much as I like Spidey in black, gonna stick with R&B and pass on the symbiote.
The base color is to bright for me and with what was previewed so far I gotta start making cuts.

I feel the complete opposite. I'm not a big spidey fan, but after seeing these in person, I need to get at least one of them.

If this had an EX Es of 500 and a Regular of 1000 it would be sold out already, and half the guys saying that they hate the base and are passing would be all over it, and saying it is better than the original COM. Now those who are truly objective wouldn't be, but there are a lot of guys who would have already ordered. I know I would have only to make sure I got to see it in person. THEN if I wasn't more impressed with it then my Com I would sell it. I am still really leaning towards ordering both, but I just don't know if I can part with the cash. One would all I would be able to keep.

Sideshow raised the bar for their Spidey statues with this one. This will be the 'must have' over all of them, IMO. Blows all others out of the water.

After seeing the photos I was sold. I'm not understanding all of the hate on the base but I think both look awesome! To me the pose and base is a win/win. I just po the r & b and I'll also po the symbiote when it becomes available.

I love them, to me the colour of the red and blue base flames looks a bit too dark or something.
