My opinion is...the less variants, the better. Stop reusing sculpts and give us original sculpts for the characters we want.

This would def be better but it's going in the other direction it seems.

dont take me wrong i love this statue also i pre order already and i will the black version too but why dont make more variant or new sculpt i will love to see scarlet spider or spiderman 2099 or in case mike morales too will be nice have this variants, idk why u guys think ? just my opinion

Jajaja no of course I don't want it and see your point but really I will love have a scarlet spider or spiderman 2099 and if will be a new statue I mean different pose will be awesome

A nightmare scenario for me personally. I just wish we'd know about variants before we PO an original sculpt. For example, we knew that there'd be a variant of the current Spidey PF and we knew ahead of time about the rainbow Hulks. I tip my hat to SSC for keeping their customers informed. A one off variant in cases that make sense I can understand. I still want to know ahead of time because I don't want to be forced to sell the original if I like the variant better. However, when we reach 3 variants of the same character (Hulk and Elektra COMs) and don't have a clue that's coming, I have a hard time with it.

I don't mind variants so much as it does give an alternative look. I think the modern Batman looks good and Symbiote Spiderman looks great. I wish SS would alter the base for more variety. At the end of the day, even at 5-10k total es worldwide it's still limited and that should be one of the last things you think about when it's sitting on your shelf.

Should I even mention the OG Grey Hulk PF,

Base looks less like a hot bun out of the oven on the new one. I cant help but picture bakery goods when I look at the blue and red spidey base

Yeah, the new base was underwhelming. I don't get the hate on the first one, as that's kind of how an explosion looks, but I mean, if you don't like it, that's all good too!

All that said, the first one still tells a story that works really well with Spider-Man. I thought they'd change the explosion entirely on the second one.
