I paid $55 for Lee's signature on a comic in '12. Line was fairly long. Wouldn't get it done again, as once is enough. The demand is there for his signature, so I'm not surprised the fee has gone up. I caught him napping during a break from signatures.

I think he'll keep going until he can't write anymore.
I'll give him credit for what he does for his fans, and with those lines I'd need a nap too.

A Ditko sig would be cool.

I thought I would take a break and hold off on orders for a LONG time after completing the DC trinity. I did so well. Easily passing on many preorders. Even unsubscribed from the newsletter to test my will. Deleted the bookmark from my web browser. When this was previewed, I had zero interest. I laughed at the price and stroked my original comiquette on the head. I was free. But this damn video brought back memories of the priceless experience of getting my original comiquette signed. I wanted to relive those moments again. As I was drowning myself in nostalgia, I somehow found myself at sideshow's website and adding this to cart! I wiped the drool from the corner of my mouth and I resisted. But I am feening. I am weak. Help me find strength, freaks.

Muahahahha welcome back I'm still rather new to collecting and the feeling is still strong xD. I'm not sure if i'm more excited by this Spider-man or the fact that they intend to continue making statues to accompany him. It's a GOOD time to be a collector.

Love that picture. Damn, look at how massive and awesome this thing is! This could end up becoming the best 1/4 comic statue of all time IMO. Nothing dynamically portrays a character in his specific comic element more than this does. If I had to cancel every single piece I had on order except for one, this would be the one.

I haven't been this excited or a Statue since the Obi won Mythos. The very first statue that got me collecting. I've gotten statues since then but none have been on par with it. This one has the potential.

I was watching a YT vid of Stan signing the new Spider-Man PF....the look on his face is what makes me realize just how stunning of a piece this will be and yet, I think I'm still underestimating just how awesome it will come out. The more I look, the more I like. I'm going to say it again, but when the 'dust' settles, I strongly feel that this will be the best Spider-Man representation to date.

Agree. I think it can be a top 5 statue that SSC has ever done to be honest. Someone said it earlier, I do not think any other sculpt has summed up a character so well. Beyond excited.

To me the neck seam is absolutely no big deal. I can't really even see it, not to mention, wearing a mask, there would be a seam there hahaha.

I am quite pleased with the rally behind this piece. I ordered day 1 hour 1, I feel so happy with how this is coming along.
