I'm planning on this being my only Spider-Man ever... It would be amazing to get a signed art print with it.

I'm going to just assume that they'll all go to friends and family of SSC staff, as these kinds of things usually do when companies offer them. I do of course hope I'm wrong, though.

They said they are going in boxes. Randomized. I'm sure they might give a couple out but come on, they aren't going to publicly announce it then rig it. I don't understand where these allegations have come from the past few days.

Oh, I didn't know this had been brought up before - wasn't really a comment on SSC directly, just an observation based on these kinds of things I've seen in the past. If that's not the way it goes then that's great, I hope to see some of them popping up on the forum (or in my shipper ).

Ah, that seems like a pretty odd accusation - how could a regular consumer possibly know it that was the case? I guess there's still a lot of cynicism out there among the buys-statues-of-superheroes-in-tights set.

Its pretty easy to put to rest. I've never won a newsletter contest but I have won both a Spook contest and a SDCC contest. Both were four years ago but there you have it. Regular collectors do win.

Yeah I won a Spook contest quite a few years ago as well and did indeed receive my free figure.

Once the order has been fully charged and processed, it will ship out in those next 48 hours and you will receive a confirmation e-mail along with the tracking number once it does. At this time, this item is expected to arrive at our warehouse between May and June 2016. For now, we will go ahead and keep your payment plan as scheduled since we do not have an exact date the item will be in stock. Our free weekly newsletter is a great way to stay updated on arrival dates and new in stock items. Again, if there are still payments remaining once this item is in stock, go ahead and contact our customer service department to confirm your order and we will charge the rest of the balance at that time.

Apparently he/she didn't get the January memo?

There has been confirmation that there is only about 20 pieces arriving in January... Also, they've been very clear before that they can not change you payment plan unless they have the statue in stock in their warehouse. So if it was delivered tomorrow morning, he might be able to switch. Just not before they had it in hand.

I also can't remember for sure, but I think someone from SSC had said they had a plan for how they would deliver the batches.
