Wow, these look pretty decent. And 8 inch huh, they'll fit in with MOTUC just fine. Here's hoping Bandai doesn't let us down.

Apparently in the fall...

Hopefully Bandai isnt using cheap plastic on these Thundercats classics line....(noticing the paint chipping on Lion-O's hand)

Is there a reason why this figure comes with a dildo?

ha ha ha, while it does look like a dildo, Tygras whip extendes and retracts when not in use. Seeing as his whip has those "balls" at the end when retracted well you get the thunder dildo :)

I hate the look of this "classics" line, they look cheap. I wish they had gone for the MOTUC design.

You're not the only one. I truly wanted to like this line, but
everything I've seen is a bit underwhelming. Can't help but
to think that Hasbro or Mattel would have put a bit more
pizazz into the sculpts, especially for a line as visually striking
as Thundercats. I've seen various Thundercat customs that
I'd buy over these.

You can't just go for the MOTUC design unless you hired the Four Horsemen. Those guys are the geniuses behind those clean, consistent designs. They also design the DC classics line.

Bandai America, on the other hand, is a subsidiary of Bandai Japan (who actually make great toys, and they're the largest toy company in Japan). But B.A. has always put out cheap looking toys, so I'm not surprised. If anything, I had my expectations quite low for this line. I think they look decent.

I won't buy them, but they have good custom potential.

More than likely Bandai A uses PVC and ABS plastic. Thats pretty much what all there figures are based out of.

i think it depends on the type of figure. i guess you get what you pay for. some of the ones i bought from ebay (the jp exclusives) were pretty well done

...yeah again Bandai Japan and Bandai America are 2 different companies who cater to 2 different demographics.

true. that's what i mean. if we can get some of the jp quality over here it would be cool. the kiddy toys r us route wont cut it for a lot of us

well thats what Im talking about...Thundercats are Bandai A, so while they look decent, beleive me once in hand people will see what Bandai A brings. Im not complaining but you really cant even compare Bandai J to Bandai A. I just want mummra so hopefully I myself wont be disappointed.

I wish people would stop the MOTU C-sucking in here, these are Thundercats and i don't want them to be anything like MOTU..no stubby muscle dudes, Bandai did a good enough job.

I hate the DC Universe line..boring reused sculpts, DC Direct do a far better job with figures.
