wise words. many people have found themselves in trouble for trying to get too much, too quickly.

I feel you for this, I'm going to have to keep some in boxes and display some at a time. I'm out of space already.

I have a box coming in very 2 -3 days I can't even keep track anymore. At the moment I have no fancy cabinets. No space I just bunch then all together on a big table. They are so crowded that evrytime I move them I almost break something. Got to think about this.

Yeah they are still coming in every couple of days. Coming in this week is sabertooth ex, big chap alien 28inch version, palpatine ex, aurra sing ex, black cat, dooku and ventress set, leia ex with stormtrooper gun. There's more I just don't remember all of them. Once more arrives I will try to get pics. I'm warning you all the set up sucks. I just cram them all so close together that there's no space in between at all on a couple of big tables. Once more arrives I will have to figure out where to put them. I I might end up leaving some in boxes if I run out of space.

The reason I said I want pics, is because I remember a similar statement on Statue Forum from this guy and he always said his camera was "broken". Still haven't seen them.

This is kind of easy for me, because I've only got a handful of statues--Cap PF, Iron Man Classic Com, Hulk PF, Spidey Com, Wolverine PF, Thor PF, Terminator PF, and Indiana Jones PF. I've had, and sold others. I guess I've spent about $3,000 total on those I've still got.

I've spent about $7,000 on statues in less than a year (didn't include 1/6 figures). Most of that money was to pay the high prices on the secondary market. Now paying retail on statues seem so cheap compared to that, lol. My GF still doesn't seem to think so

I'm glad to say that I've slowed down quite a bit in 2012. I've only pre-ordered maybe 3 figures so far.

Now I'm spending the extra money on my car, rather than on collectables.

Lol no I'm not married yet. I'm still getting these in daily so as for pics I will put some up in the future. I want to get a bunch more in first. Yes the back tracking is the real killer. But anyways this other guy on tne forums who spent 40k not including 100k in toys wil totally wipe out my collection. He's on this forum with the many pics on his thread. I did spend 100k plus on other collections in the past like transformers, gi Joe, spawn, comics, thunder cats, he-man etc. I quit those and now into statues. Now im into only statues, movies, eating out and super exotic cars. I really don't care if people believe it or not. I'm only here to get my collection on track. This site has help me like no other place could. I've met so many great sellers and members here in my 2 months. Thanks all for a great time.

Yes I totally understand. I've been collecting now for years all in comics and 80s toys. But now I to statues. I'm selling off all my other toy lines except for a few key pieces. I hope I don't regret this later on down the road. But now my passion is statues over toys. Hey this guy vs1976 is the king of statues that I've seen. Props to having such a super nice collection. I hope you have fun and enjoy them for a long time. Also you're still keeping 90% of your other toy lines? Wow don't know how you do it.

There are other peeps with bigger collections then I like Averone & Fremen. I haven't step into the 1:1 scale yet nor if I would ever attempt it But I can probably say I have the biggest toy collection here (not really bragging) and I don't need pictures to prove it

I buy things so I can enjoy it. I wouldn't let some peeps spoil it by demanding to see pics. Its ultimately your choice, after-all its a hobby that should be enjoyed.

How about the legendary scales? I know you want to go bigger. I'm very tempted myself. But have not seen enough yet. If they make some of my favorites it's going to be very tempting like wonder woman, darth talon, love the maul, obi wan out now. There's Indy jones on the way. It's only getting better. I won't go lifesize anymore but legendary is still ok if I only get a couple. At the moment I will not go 2000.00 for one piece.

So, in spite of how much I love these things, I put them at the absolute bottom of all my priorities. That way, it stays fun. Sure, it can be frustrating not having everything you want now, but that's the same for most of us. Time is money, and from 5-10 years time, I'll have something pretty damn impressive imo. Plus, I'm at an advantage as I don't like Star Wars! Predator, Terminator, Alien vs Predator, Avengers, Batman....that's pretty much it. I've been collecting, properly for one year, and have spent just over £1200. Mainly sideshow spider-man 3 stuff which I'm buying in hind-sight. Got my eyes on the 1:1 Endoskull next, or the Enterbay Dark Knight.

Great collecting! I didn't like star wars either. Until just 2 months ago when i started collecting SS statues. Now I love star wars. It's a really cool universe when you get into all the many siths and jedi characters. This hobby is getting more and more expensive for example the prices use to be 250.00 a statue and now they are reaching 400.00 main stream for one statue. This doesn't even include tax and shipping. But since I got in, so far it's been fun. but not on my wallet.

Yea, I'm certainly not prioritizing collecting over my marriage. I have a great wife who accepts my collecting and 2 beautiful 7 month old girls and they will always come first. That being said, I love statues now and will continue to collect as long as my other priorities are financially taken care of. Space is more of an issue than money right now!!!!
