New up to date of money spent on all your statues so far. How much?

This thread is depressing and actually makes me want to stop.

When you put it out of sight and mind that's one thing.
When you keep track and total up the cost of this crap...yes I said it...crap lol - It's insane to think how much we spend on this.

I almost, well actually I do feel guilty somewhat.

This thread and comic book guy makes me want to slow down and give it a break! lol

So many awesome vacations or a new car by now I could have had lol

But I'm going in the right direction. Glad I cancelled the Neytiri Maquette. I'm staying away from the LSF line for a long while!

Other then the Droids and upcoming Jake Sully Statue, so far I'm under control with what comic con is throwing at me.

No worries, I'm still going it just seems crazy. But when a new piece co ES out I do feel good getting it. I'm still getting more than ever now but will slow down soon. I think you did the right thing by skipping the LSF because later on if you still want the big neytiri statue I bet it will be much less than the prices now.

Wow your on a roll. great collection. Don't worry too much otherwise it spoils the fun. Just have fun as long as you enjoy it at the same time. But this hobby adds up fast.

Well from NOV 2011 to till date. I have spent 6500$ Excluding Preorders in about 7 months..... all Statues at retail. & now 14+ Preorders also upcoming preorders .... I almost made mind to pay more than retail for grail statues like Cap PF, Thor PF...... but i changed my mind again. will get DC line Statues.... Marvel specific ones,Predator & Arni Statues. I have spent too much money for customs 1300$ ........

That is alot of money. But you do have the best predator ever made. preorder? Please don't think about those right now.

Yes, it does add up, but at least most collectibles remain fairly liquid through ebay. I have a wife and 2 kids. My son has autism, and we ended up having to send him to a private school that cost $20,000. We didn't have enough quite enough for tuition, so I sold off $10,000 of stuff in 2 weeks time, and voila, tuition paid.

My wife used to give me a hard time about my collection, but not so much since then. She knows that if it came down to it, I'd sell my whole collection for our family. The fact that most things I've purchased have gone up in value doesn't hurt either.

I estimate statuehunter75 from YouTube spends at least $200 a week on statues and he's been doing it for a few years I believe. I don't think that guys going to stop until he owns every halfway decent statue ever made. I don't know where he puts them. If he displays them they would literally fill every room of a large house. I'm not hating though. "Statuehunter75 here with an another wicked piece."

He has 261 video reviews up and adds at least 2 new ones a month.

i think some $3000 on my current collection but over 9000 since my first collection. I've been buying and selling to by other collection figures, so a figure buys another lol

I spent 30k in 3 months now. But I'm trying to slow down. The funny thing is 30k is not even that many pieces. For me alot of the statues will be 500.00 each because most are from back tracking. I mean 2 is 1000.00. 10 of them is 10,000.00. So money can't go far here.
