Yeah, I'd love to see HT give Qui-Gon a crack.
Really can't wait to see Jedi Luke. The original Sideshow figure was so great way back then, it was all we knew. I also hope they don't totally ignore the prequels, at least give us a Qui-Gon and ROTS Anakin and Obi-Wan.
You can probably cross Fett and Vader off the list because regardless of what anyone else has done, HT isn't likely to soon release or announce second versions of characters they've already got coming out and haven't yet shipped. They're more likely if you really stretch out the list, but then it would require moving a lot of the more significant (as we currently assume) TFA figures forward. I'd also expect a BB-8 and later on a TFA 3-PO in any list approaching 20 figures.
But maybe you're right -- I mean, it's not like Hot Toys ever gave us more than one version of Iron Man within 18 months...
Money on the table if you're ready.
So are you betting that within 18 months from TODAY, a 1/6 variation of Boba Fett and/or Darth Vader will NOT be announced by Hot Toys?
Zuckuss and 4-Lom are coming, and to me at least, they're way more insignificant than Walrusman - does anyone expect they'll be less than $200 each? Their saving grace is that you can display them along with Boba Fett, Bossk and IG-88. Maybe one day Dengar.
I have no problem with wish lists, but it always bugs me when someone purposefully tries to misquote and/or incorrectly re-interpret what someone else wrote.
My guess is that HT will expand into ROTJ. We already have ROTJ Fett.
The likely candidates will be
1. Jedi Luke,
2. Palps
3. Royal Guard
After this, they will sway back into ESB so they don't step on SS toes. However, look for Bespin Han, Snow Trooper and Lando
There are only TWO left from ROTJ... and they are Emperor and Jedi Luke quite obviously.
when do you guys think they'll reveal the last ROTJ figures?
With Hot Toys doing Star Wars Iron Man and repeats of Sideshow's past, Sideshow should be taking advantage of the opportunity to make interesting figures.
Hopefully they'll be able to figure out a way between the rocks and hard places.
