Also, the Eagles mean business. They cut defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins. He was a free-agent pick up from Green Bay in 2011. The Eagles had given him a five-year, $25 million deal.

I guess Brady wants to win, and is willing to take the pay hit in order to do it. I wish Brees was willing to do the same, but don't begrudge him for making the choice he made.

I think that's a valid story. It speaks to his personality and shows you that he really didn't care. The Eagles biggest mistake was going headhunting and hiring a bunch of "superstars". You can't make a team using people that think they are the whole team.
