They were the No. 1 offense and undefeated in 07 and couldn't even score 20 points :lol. Then they lost to a Giants team that had the worst regular season record of a Super Bowl winning team. Rex Grossman was 2-0 against the Giants that year and Brady was 0-2 lol. Eli is not even considered a top 10 QB and he outplayed your so called GOAT Brady in both games :lol All the Patriots Super Bowl wins are tainted by cheating :lol

They lost to a Giants team that had an incredible front 7 who was able to mount a perfect pass rush while not allowing their extremely weak and vulnerable secondary to be exposed by Brady. Gotta give credit where it is due and put aside records. In that game, the Giants made more plays than the Pats. Giants D should have been named MVP, not Eli :wink1:

Funny, but Seattle looked like the real deal to me last night, record be damned. If they played the Saints this weekend, it would have been a slaughter.

I can't get too worked up about cheating allegations, considering that every single team in the league is about 95%+ guys who are 'roided out of their minds. And the fans and administration really look the other way, because if we didn't have these superhuman beasts running faster than human beings have any right to and beating the **** out of each other, there would be a hell of a lot less interest in the sport. For whatever reason, there was a cultural sea change in baseball over the last 15 years, where implicit support turned into opposition and indignation at offenders, but that's clearly not happened in football. A guy gets caught (probably because he was just too stupid or arrogant to properly deceive testers), and gets a little slap on the wrist, and no one even thinks much about it. In cycling or baseball, they become a disgrace and are ineligible to be in the Hall of Fame, etc.

So, recording scrimmages, deflating footballs, etc. just seem so quaint and insignificant by comparison. As does the bounty scandal with the Saints years ago, which entailed no cheating at all, just institutionalization of behavior that all teams do. But everyone gets outraged about these behaviors while all these roided freaks run around with no one caring. I don't really understand it.

Ugh...I would have taken a 100-0 loss to the Eagles if it meant keeping Romo healthy.

They should still be able to keep pace in the NFC East but it's going to be an ugly couple of months.

Wait how could Brady be 0-2 that year but undefeated before the superbowl?

Don't forget a team that was caught during the game modifying the balls and a team that was pumping in crowd noise that no one cares about because they didn't win.

Oh, you are one of those types of fans...... I feel very sorry for you. If you ever want to know true facts, do research on your own, I know SportsCenter likes to lie and twist facts, they are fools.... then again Who's more foolish, the fool or the fool that follows him? :wink1:

As I said before, the D carried the Giants, probably the best D during that game the Pats faced all year. Brady had a bum ankle as well. Eli did not outplay Brady, the Giants D outplayed the Pats D. Brady had his team up late but D just could not make a play.

"Rex Grossman was 2-0 against the Giants that year.... Brady was 0-2" You clearly have no idea what you are taking about. A healthy Brady, at the Giants, won 38-35 (did you forget that) in 2007. Come the Super Bowl Giants made more plays on that given day and won. I think if Brady was healthy the game could have turned out differently, but it was only a 3 point win at the Giants to begin with, so who knows.

"Tainted by cheating" Please explain. Or, better yet, go to yourteamcheats and see, Giants have been cheating 35 times, 15x more than the Pats. Isn't that funny?

Hey Burning Rage, Giants Spygate

SUMMARY: In early 2001, a column from the Toronto Globe and Mail included an item alleging that the Giants were under suspicion from the NFL for eavesdropping on conversations between the offensive staffs and quarterbacks of the Eagles and Vikings during their 2001 playoff victories. No league or team source was quoted and no specific violation was cited. The original article is no longer available, but is referenced here as well as in other places online.

According to the Globe and Mail, there were serious allegations running through the league that the New York Giants cheated in the playoffs by intercepting radio transmissions. According to the report, the concerns were brought to the attention of NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue after the Eagles claimed that the Giants were able to listen to the plays being sent via radio from coaches to their quarterback, Donovan McNabb. When the Giants heard the plays, they set up their defense accordingly with hand signals. Apparently similar allegations were being expressed by the Minnesota Vikings after being dominated by the Giants in their game.

Wow, what do you know?

Giants beat them in regular season last time they played them in the Super Bowl. Game winning TD drives and MVPs means he outplayed Brady.

Why do people argue about sports? The teams settle it on the field. Someone wins and someone loses. The players let it go there, but fans argue for years as if arguing about it will change what happened :lol

Players don't let it go. Big Ben is still ********* about the Pats.,

I'm talking about the last time the Giants played the Patroits in the Super Bowl they also played them in the regular season and beat them.
So you were just completely rambling on and not following a single train of thought. Good to know.

Read what I wrote. I said it right after this sentence "Then they lost to a Giants team that had the worst regular season record of a Super Bowl winning team." Seems your reading comprehension skills are not good. Good to know :rolleyes2

Then in 2011 they lost. That's how the sanest de should have been written. The way you wrote that ist was IMO,I'd that all of that occurred in 07.

My skills are just fine it's just hard to comprehend statements that go all over the place.
