Its not like Cleveland has a rich tradition of QB's... if the guy is hot and has some confidence... play him.

Just Otto Graham, the first QB in the franchise's history. After that it's been 60 years of mediocrity. While I understand the temptation to play Manziel, I think the turnovers are too many for it to be the wise choice.

Johnny Manzell beat the second worst team from last year. Let's pump the brakes a lil bit. He has had 4 fumbles and and INT in two games and they showed he can't thrown from the pocket, he had to roll out for all of his passes. He just doesn't have the skills to be a good long term NFL QB. Can he get hot and win some games sure so could Tebow.

Because McCown is such a better choice, right? A 36 year old quarterback coming off of a awful 2014 and now a concussion who peaked two years ago with the Bears. Give Johnny a legit shot and lets see what he can do and see if his game can grow.

Yeah and its has a lot to do with what they see all week that we don't see. If you cant pass from the pocket you will never be a consistent winner.

Washington will NOT play RGIII, unless Cousins and McCoy both get injured, and even then, they may pick up some journeyman to play before RGIII. Why? If he's injured, the $16 million salary for RGIII's next season is FULLY GUARANTEED in case of injury. Given RGIII's history and penchant for injuries, they won't put him on the field at all this year. Business decision. Should they finally decide to pull the trigger and cut him, they don't have to pay him the $16 million.
