Fantastic finish for Rivers and the Bolts. Smart call to go for the 2 point conversion and the win at the end of the game. I wouldn't want to give Mahomes another shot at winning the game. What a great game.

Went to put my daughter to bed after the Chiefs went up 14 at the start of the fourth quarter, and I ended up falling asleep. Guess I’ll have to watch the fourth on my DVR.

This is only the second Chargers game I’ve seen this year (other being the Pittsburgh game). I have to say, this Bolts team is fun to watch. They’ve got some good, unheralded receivers...Keenan Allen has gotten some pub, but the Williams boys are pretty good as well. And Rivers keeps playing at a high level.

It was his knock when he came out of college too. It works for him. It didnt keep him from practically speaking the #1 pick since SD was never going to keep Manning they just drafted his trade ability.

He may not have the hardware that his two other draft mates at QB do, but he most likely will outlast them.

Over the years I’ve learned to appreciate Philip Rivers. When he was younger and used to have those jawing matches with Jay Cutler, I was like “WTF?” but then I realized Cutler was pretty much as culpable, if not more.

I turned the corner on Rivers when he gutted out the 2007 AFC title game on a torn ACL and almost pulled it off. The guy has had a hell of a career and ring or not he’s Canton bound.

And he's probably a better QB than both of them as well (better than Eli for sure.)

I think Rivers is the better of the 3. The other 2 just ended up with better teams or better luck to get them their Rings which I believe is one of the only real stats they they lead Rivers in.

Elway needs to stop thinking he knows what he is doing at QB. Other than being able to talk Peyton into going he has been a complete failure at picking QB's.
