Never would have bet both Pats and Hawks would lose in afternoon games. I would have guessed both would win.

The referees probably just threw a flag on the Pats in the post game prayer circle. Pitiful game from the offense making the mediocre defense look competent.

Lots of desperate teams showing up big today. Saints better be on notice as they have a desperate team tomorrow night.

But Colts are also desperate. Besides the Bears and Viking which of the teams who were in better shape playoffs wise won?

Crazy that the Rams loss tonight and loss to the Bears could get Bears into the #2 spot if Bears win next week and Rams lose :horror

That’s asking a lot of the Cardinals and 49ers. The Rams have the best schedule to close the season. I could see the Bears lose another, and Saints lose at least one if not two more.

I was initially annoyed that the Dallas/Indy game wasn’t being shown in my area (we got Washington/Jacksonville instead) but sounds like I didn’t miss much.

Good win by Philly last night to keep their hopes alive, but they still have to beat Houston at home and Washington on the road, and hope Dallas drops both their last two games against the Bucs and at the G-Men.

And Nick Foles made himself an extra $500,000 last night...his contract is written up with incentives that pay him $250K for every game he plays at least 33% of the snaps and another $250K if he wins the same game. Nice.

Here's hoping Foles gets another $500k next Sunday. Having seen Houston quite a bit this year I'm torn on them. They seem to be fool's gold record wise based on who they've played. On another hand they have talent all over the roster and should be a contender in the now wide open AFC.

I think today, I realized I really dislike my fellow Patriots “fans” who are having a hard time coming grips with the last 2 weeks. Every other strong team comes back to the pack. The Steelers, Ravens, Packers, Seahawks, they all have off years, non- playoff years, 8-8 or below years, rebuild and come back. That the Patriots never “suffered” these kinds of years has their spoiled fans thinking they’re immune to the phenomenon.

If going 11-5, winning their division, but possibly falling short of the Super Bowl is the worst thing that happens, they should all count their lucky, self-entitled stars.

Boston has had the most annoying fan crown for a while now.

I think it’s mostly Patriots and Red Sox fans fault for this. You can tell who were fans pre-2001 and who wasn’t. The entitlement is close to Yankee fans from not that long ago. I can still remember those god awful teams from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. When I was a kid beating the Bills was a huge deal in what was a 6-10 season. Just making the playoffs in 1994 was huge let alone getting to a SB 2 years later.

Only thing sweeter than knocking Aaron and the Pack out of the playoffs is winning the NFC North while doing it. :yess:

A win tonight would be HUGE for the Saints securing the 1 seed.
They just said that they have a 95% of having the #1 seed with a win, and a 65% chance if they lose, however that is calculated. They have a harder schedule over the next couple of weeks than the Rams. But their offense is off, again, tonight. Credit to their defense for getting some key turnovers. I think it's playing in the outdoors in reasonable cold weather. Brees is slightly more off than usual, and receivers have dropped a lot of catchable balls. They are designed to do well in a controlled environment. But some bad decisions here and there by the coaches and various players aren't helping.

By the way, Taysom Hill is the man.
