A real shootout. When the Giants when ahead 31-30, I was thinking how the hell can the Eagles be blowing this game? But they recovered nicely.

Alone at the top of the divison again! I would have been happy with the Wildcard, but if Philly can end the season at the top that will be even better.

The Saints play on saturday. (go Cowboys! god i hate saying that) If they win, they will go 16-0 probably the schedule is cake.

That's right. The Saints play the Cowboys in the Superdome. The VERY LOUD SUPERDOME! Our 13th man will show up again, just like it has ALL season for EVERY home game!

THE SAINTS WILL WIN! THEY WILL BEAT THE COWBOYS!

Then, after that we play the Bucs, and the Panthers.

That's a lot of confidence in a team that almost lost to the Skins and my ????ty ass Falcons with a backup QB and RB back to back. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Panthers beat them.

One thing that might work in the Saints favor, however, is that we have some major defensive injuries that will hopefully get cleared up come playoff time.

Arguably our best linebacker and both of our starting corners have been out for several weeks now (linebacker Fujita's been out all season). These are pretty significant injuries. Our offense, of course, is fine. Better than fine. Better than anybody else. So far, it has been good enough to overcome our crappy, injured defense. If we get those guys back, and assuming that we don't get any additional injuries come playoff time, then I think we'll be OK. If not. . .Drew Brees better not have a bad game. And Reggie Bush better not fumble.

On the road they have showed weakness (esp in colder weather): Buffalo (I swear they had 'em ), Miami, Washington, St Louis, Atlanta.

these close games are good for the Saints. It doesn't signal weakness at all. Every team goes through close games. the good ones win them.

Could the Saints lose? Of course, but I don't think these last 2 games say the Saints are on the verge of tanking.

Yup, Cowboys will miss the playoffs this year with that difficult remaining schedule. You'll get your wish and Phillips will be fired. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys hired Mike Shanahan as the next coach.
