have you guys heard about Moss apparently giving up and the Panther players ragging on him?

ok 2 issues here.

1) it was only a matter of time
and
2) who the frick do these Panthers think they are? They LOST THE GAME. LOOK AT THE SCOREBOARD BEFORE YOU START TALKIN TRASH. YOUR COMPETITOR QUIT AND YOU STILL LOST! LOSERS.

Poor, pitiful Panthers. They are part of the curse that is being part of the NFC South. You suck most of the time, then have a decent run every 4 years or so. Of course, they could make another big-time playoff run next year, though it is the Bucs turn the way I figure it.

Here is a side story that I really hope turns out to be interesting.

Joe Montana's son, Nick, will be a Junior at Washington next year.

Not NFL, yet, but I sure would like to see how he would do in the NFL. So I hope he makes it.

It would be interesting to see him go to the 49ers as well. Seems to me that they'll be looking for a new QB right about the time he hits the draft...more or less.

Actually he will be a Freshman at Washington next year and hopefully sitting behind Jake Locker for one season.

Joe has two sons that both play QB. His youngest is the talented one though and will be the freshman at Washington. His oldest (Nate) is at Pasedena City College as a redshirt freshman.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me, either :D

In fact, that would probably surprise me slightly less.

I kind of miss the 49ers. They were in the Saints division (NFC West) back in the day. Yeah, they always won the division (essentially the Colts or Patriots of that division in the 80s), but we were still rivals. Rams, too.

So the Vikes beat someone besides the Pack with a winning record (and beat them solid without harvin) Not surprising to me, but may be to some. I think the next team the Vikes play with a winning record will be the Giants. (and get CT INVOLVED EVEN MORE DAMN! :))

Apparently, he was upset because he got sent home for showing up late for a team meeting. Belichick sent 4 players home (including Moss and Adalius Thomas) to send a message that he means business with the poor play in recent games. The thing with Moss is that as talented as he is, if he gets flustered...he really doesn't know how to handle it. So you see instances like this where he shuts himself down and plays at a level less than 100%.

My prediction is that the Saints will lose their first playoff game. :lecture

One thing that might work in the Saints favor, however, is that we have some major defensive injuries that will hopefully get cleared up come playoff time.

Drew Brees better not have a bad game. And Reggie Bush better not fumble.

The Saints look very "beatable" away from home, better hope you lock up homefield advantage.

:lectureHere's the deal folks: In the past five years, at least one of the top two seeds in both conferences heading into the playoffs have been upset in the division round game. There's no guarantee of a Vikings/Saints showdown in the NFC Championship game. I think one of these two teams will lose their first playoff game. Sadly, I predict my Vikes to go down.

That seems about right.

Bring the Noize. Gotta love it to see them back on track after the Arizona debacle.

Normally, tonight's MNF matchup would be a throw away game for me. But I'll be watching to see which Arizona team shows up tonight. I really think the Vikes will play them in the playoffs...which has me concerned due to the Beat Down they gave us.

Larry Fitzgerald is over-rated. If the Cards had sense, they would trade him to the Saints for the great, under-rated Reggie Bush. Or the great, under-rated John Carney.

Well it would here (most likely) and revenge would be in order :)

And that's why I think we'd win. However, Arizona is the only team this season that completely shut down both our running and passing games. Also, I wouldn't want to play the Eagles. Andy Reid knows what Childress is going to do before Childress does.:lol

I thought they cut Carney's ass and got a new kicker?
