I didn't think Seymour was going to re-sign in any scenario. Looking back it may have hurt for this year, but the Raiders should be terrible enough to make sure the Pats get a quality pick.

I look forward to what they're going to do in regard to the secondary. It seems like a patchwork deal for the last few off-seasons. I wouldn't oppose trying for Bodden for another year, but I'm sure he'll get more money elsewhere. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to never see Jonathan Wilhite again either.

That's just the thing. The Patriots put an offer on the table for Seymour and he immediately shot it down before the season began. Then he was shell shocked about the trade. Can't blame the Pats for taking a Raiders 1st rounder while clearing some cap space.

Wilhite might be the cheaper alternative than trying to resign Bodden (who had a decent year--I would like to see them attempt to resign him as well). I'm looking forward to what they do to the secondary as well. The coaching turnover has to have something to do with the faults within this team. I'm unsatisfied with the offensive coordinator role on the team and they haven't looked the same since McDaniel left for Denver. Sooner or later that patchwork that they've been using is really going to catch up to them. One is for sure...this is a team in transition.

There will be 3 rematches next week.

3rd one depends on the outcome of tonight's game.

I was thinking the same thing but the NE/Baltimore was locked in because if Jets won NE was 3 seed and Balt was 6 and if Jets lost they were out, Texans were in as 6 seed but NE would be 4th seed.:google

What, no booze at jets/bengals game???

FAIL

They said this morning it was so they wouldnt have drunk people trying to take half of the Meadowlands home with them. It was the last game there ever so they were worried that Jets fans would try to take a bumch of stuff with them like they did for the last game they played a Shea Stadium.

Warner only played a few series I think, by the time I looked Leinart was in

What the hell are the Cards going to do once Warner retires? They're finished once he leaves/retires. It's amazing how much better they do offensively AND defensively  when Warner is in the game. He's the glue that holds that team together. Sort of like Nash for the Suns.

Far as i can tell it's only one person doing the talking. Don't lump us all in one group.

It wasn't directed at you, my fiend and I have nothing against the Vikes fans. The Eagles have a frustrating history like the Vikes. Both teams have had frustrating loses in the Super Bowl and in the NFC Championship game. I was pulling for the Vikings in 1999, or as we called it around here the Randall Cunningham show.
It's just fun to talk.
On the Vick issue, I would not have taken out Donovan but I would have had Vick in for at least 3 plays just to shake things up. On the fourth and 2 I would not have kicked a field goal I would have given the ball to Vick and told him to get 2 yards.
As bad as they looked today I have confidence in the Eagles next week.

What are they planning to do with all that stuff? I would assume that most will be trashed anyway, and the fans would be doing a favor taking stuff home with them, but. . .maybe they'll try to sell some of it? I'm thinking mostly seats, but I guess if you start ripping apart the plumbing in the restrooms or something that could be a problem.

I'm gonna predict:

NFC:
-Cowboys over Eagles (just based on today's game, though I won't be surprised either way)
-Packers over Cardinals (Cards too uneven, and have looked really vulnerable at times)

AFC:
-Ravens over Patriots (just got a feeling about it, and Welker seemed so critical to the Pats, that I think they are gonna really miss him)
-Jets over Bengals (the way the Bengals were dominated tonight, I don't see how they are gonna turn things around by next week, but maybe they will play harder when something is at stake)

There were stories of last game at Shea that they had whole tool boxes with them. Fans just want a piece of team history. They can destroy all but a handful of seats then sell/auction the rest off and get big $.

Look at Yankee Stadium seats

Sorry to see that the Steelers are sitting at home for the post season. But I am still really looking forward to some of the games this post season. I am not sure who to root for, though.

A few of the teams get eliminated from my consideration just because I have always hated them (cowboys, ravens) a few get disqualified because their fans are hating on my beloved Steelers with no good reason (eagles [I even find myself rooting for my arch nemesis team next week against an eagles team that I have always rooted for against them in the past], cardinals, chargers), some I am just tired of seeing in the Superbowl (pats, colts, packers), friendly rivalry keeps me from rooting for a few (vikings, bengals) and a few I simply don't care one way or the other about them because they are just not standing out with good football play (jets).

So even though I would rather see the AFC catch up on Superbowls, it looks like I will be rooting for the Saints this post season despite the fact that their fans are spelling "go" with the French pronunciation (that is "get", use the French pronunciation). The Saints have never been to a Superbowl so I am all for them getting one.

Hmmm ...

So it will be Ravens over Pats; Eagles over Cowboys; Packers over Cardinals and Jets over Bengals ... right?! :dunno

Man I don't know? I want the Eagles to win sooo bad. I hope they are embarrassed that they come out and play hard on Sunday.

My wild card picks:

Pats over Ravens
Cards over Packers
Cowboys over Eagles
Jets over Bengals

Honestly I dont know who I would pick in any of the games. Part of the problem is you see the Cards and Bengals get killed by the team they just played but they had nothing to play for and didnt play starters the whole game so who know. Then you have Dallas killing a Eagles team who had a lot to play for so is Dallas that better or did Eagles lay an egg:lol who knows. Then with the Pats Ravens game with Welker out thats a big hit to the Pats but I still think if they can turn it into a shoot out they have the advantage.

So in closing flip a coin on every game.:rotfl

I think Arizona hustled Green Bay and will win next week in the rematch.

I think the Eagles have too many problems on the line to pull out a win at Dallas in the rematch.

I think that the Jets suck and Sanchez sucks and the Bengals didn't play as hard as the Jets considering what the Jets needed, so the Bengals will beat the Jets in the rematch.

I think the Falcons should have been in the AFC this year.

I always had a soft spot for the Jets, so I'm thrilled that they won..plus I can't stand the Bengals. I'm hoping the Jets can do it again next weekend. But I would have liked to have seen the Texans make it in. They played their heart out at the end and did all they could do to secure a spot. Plus I like Schaub. Oh well, maybe next year.

My wildcard picks:

Ravens over the Pats, even though I'd like to see the Pats win
Cardinals over the Packers
Cowboys over Eagles, sadly
Jets over Bengals
