I must have missed the memo. How was it that Joey Porter made the ********* list? I know he had a few messed up incidents. But I just read list of his negatives and it hardly seems to me to warrant a serious conviction. I am usually pretty hard on dumb asses getting big bucks to play football. But there are worse than Joey Porter out there that don't get anything beyond a minor consideration from me.

And if the Steelers were so disgruntled with him as an organization, then why would they even consider Michael Vick as they did. Different coach or not.

I agree about the Saints helmet smashing the Colts helmet! I hope I don't go broke buying Saints Super Bowl gear! I know it's worth it!

I would say that the Saints would take him (since we need all the defensive help we can get), but I think it has done our team good not to have douchebags on our team, even gifted ones. Donte' Stallworth didn't show up/come to practice on time on a few occassions, and Payton gave him the boot. No T.O.s, Ocho Cincos, Joey Porters, Randy Moss's, or Albert Haynesworths on our team. Closest we probably have is Shockey, but he has acted reasonably professionally since being with the Saints.

First year he was with the Saints after being traded from the Jints, he was acting like a prima donna (he's from "The U"...what else is new), but Brees put him in his place. Aside from getting "dehydrated" in Vegas during the off season, Shockey has been fairly quiet in terms of distractoins.

I have all the respect in the world for Brees as a quarterback, a leader, and a human being for what he's done for the city of New Orleans.

Great designs! I like the second one. I'll have to look for it. Seeing the Saints helmet on the SuperBowl shirts brings a tear to my eye. It's finally sinking in that they are going to the big game. Lord help us all if they win.

For Tampa Bay I didn't buy anything until after the SB. I was thinking if they won I get tons of SB Champs stuff and if they had lost I would have just bought an NFC Camps shirt for dirt cheap and not have been stuck looking at a SB shirt that they lost.

Too bad Peyton. You WON'T get your second Super Bowl. I like you, but I LOVE the Saints! You've already won the Super Bowl once. The Saints have not. This is their first time. They deserve to win it. They will earn it by winning the game.

This season has been the most special season ever for the Saints. Things have gone their way so many times, in so many games. It is their destiny to win the Super Bowl. Even though their defense is now being dubbed "dirty" by the media, for playing tough football.

Today Drew Brees won the Fed Ex Air Player of the Year. The Saints offensive line won the Best Offensive Line of the Year from John Madden. Archie Manning accepted the award on their behalf.

Anyone who whines about his team all the time, particularly in the middle of the week leading up to the Superbowl (see Kurt Warner's timing as an example of non-douchery) is an annoying tool that I wouldn't want on my team. I don't blame NFL players for acting out of their self interest, but when they start blaming other people around them, calling people out, making scenes, etc., it becomes more trouble than it's worth. If you are unhappy with where you are, discuss it with the team and your agent. Don't make silly scenes. It's just better not to have those guys around. Plus, this guy was talking trash all season with little to show for it. I don't blame the Dolphins for sitting him if he wasn't producing.

Last night I had the second dream this week about the Saints being in the Superbowl. The first one, they were playing the Vikings for some reason and were really struggling. Last night, they were playing the Colts, and were struggling again. Couldn't get first downs, committing stupid penalties, etc. In my dream, I couldn't even watch much of it because I was so nervous.

I had no idea this Superbowl appearance would affect my sub-conscious mind in this way.

Nope! I was rooting for a COLT vs SAINTS super bowl since pitu is a colts fan and I wanted the saints to beat they're ass.

I'm usually a Giants fan, but since they sucked so hard this season, i decided to root for the Saints this year since they're teh underdog!
Even tho...the Colts would bring more profit to my company.
