Maybe now he can focus his career on competitive eating.

Just reported on NFL.com...
After just three years, Russell's career with the raiders comes to an end.
there goes another raider!
He only has three years under his belt doesn't he? I would think there to be NFL life left in him yet. A lot more if he gets with the program of whatever team picks him up. Maybe this has been a ploy the whole time to get away from the Raiders.
I'm just waiting for the announcement that the Patriots have signed Russell. Seems they sign everyone the Raiders cut.
I think that I would almost like to see that. It seems to me that Russell could be a good fit there IF he gets with the program.
This is true. Except instead of "better," I would say "bigger and more athletically gifted." He wasn't a great QB at LSU by any means. LSU often won despite him. At the time, I could not understand all the pre-draft hype. It was as if they only looked at his size, watched his last bowl game (where he played reasonably well if memory serves), and made their decision. He'll never get with the program. He was lazy at LSU and even before. His problem is he was always so much better than those around him in high school and college that he never developed a work ethic and just relied on his athletic skills. Now he's older, lazier, and fatter.
Did anyone else watch 30 for 30 "Straight Outta L.A." ?
LMAO, I had completely forgotten about the "Silver and Black" song.
EBay often has the random crap that I don't actually expect to find there.
This is kind of a small thing. But I have been looking for one of the 64 oz insulated plastic mugs with the Steelers logo for like 4 years. I even had Badmoon on the lokout for them (thanks, bud!). I had about given up when a buddy walked in to my office and when that came up in conversation, he told me to check on ebay and maybe he would bring me luck.
Well, there they were. I am stoked!
The City of Industry, California, to me, seems like a horrible place to put an NFL stadium. The community is not that big and it will pretty much be taken over by football crowds on game days. The freeway system there is already pathetic...on it's best day...and the absolute nightmare that event traffic is certain to be sort of makes me want to curl up into a ball and start sucking my thumb. The single saving point for me is that I no longer drive in that area often and I can Stay away...unless the Steelers play there...then I will be obligated to attend.
Personally...I hope that idea tanks.
who's gonna play there?
