Saints first-stringers didn't look very good, and punter got injured making a tackle. Fortunately, our kicker isn't a bad punter.

I just ignore the pre-season and hope that nobody important gets hurt. There is zero correlation between the success of the Saints first stringers in pre-season and in the regular season based on my observations.

That "Shefty" guy was on Mike and Mike this morning talking about how Tampa Bay was the real force to watch in the NFC South. I say, good luck to them, but based on last year, I don't see it. Honestly, the Falcons are the team that worries me.

The Bucs will be solid but not a "force" this year... but look out for next season for my Bucs will return to playoff glory. :)

Happy taking a chance on a guy who wants to be a back-up? I'd rather leftwich starts in lieu of Ben ... oh no wait, he is:pfft:

We are Steelers fans. Let's not start comments that are more suited for Raiders and Cowboys fans.

But to answer the question...what I want is someone who has shown that he can move that offense. And Batch has easily shown that better than Leftwich has. Hell, sometimes I think Batch might be better than the rapist.

For a minute there I thought you wrote hell Batch might be a better rapist. I was like WTF. :lol

LOL...considering how stupid Roethlisberger is...I think it stands to reason the IF Batch was a rapist...he would be a better one that Roethlisberger.

How happy will they be when they realize that what they had last year is not the REAL Farve.

I can't remember if anyone posted about it in this thread, but like 2 months ago, there was an article that said that the writer knew Favre was going to play again this year because his wife renewed her membership to her health club in Minnesota for another year.

I guess he wasn't so stupid after all.:)

Favre has always been all about Favre and that's what I don't like about the guy. He knew damn well he was going to play. He just didn't want to put the work in before the season again.

He'll be sorry for not going out on a high note if the season goes way South for the Vikings this year.

As long as Peterson is healthy, I think he'll be fine. In all fairness as much as I don't like the prick he really boosted the Vikes level of play last year. I can't see why it would be any different this year.

Favre has been pretty tough and healthy throughout his career, and I certainly don't want to jinx him. But I can't help but wonder if he isn't tempting fate.
