Mike McCarthy had about as bad a final 2:20 as you will ever see out of the HC position.

Let them score and then let your team have a shot to tie.:slap

Those pass interferences by Green Bay were absolute killers. Horrible. Reminiscent of a few years ago when the Saints would routinely tackle guys before the ball even got to them to make sure they wouldn't catch it. We had this tandem of Ashley Ambrose and Tebucky Jones that turned that into an art form.

Once, those guys tacked the hell out of a referee, too, but it didn't help them win the game :(

Yeah...Adam...I remember those two idiots! Tebucky Jones and Ashley Ambrose. At least now we have guys that can play the position for the most part with Jabari Greer, and Tracy Porter. It'll be SO nice to have Darren Sharper back too when he returns in a few weeks. :yess:

The loss to the Falcons was a tough one. I saw that Coach Payton has called back in veteran kicker John Carney, and a few other kickers to take a look at them. But they say that they'll still stick with Garrett Hartley. So...we'll see....

You are wrong sir. The fans in Philly gave Dawkins a standing O when he came out in the Broncos uniform.

It's a respect thing in Philly. And if you've earned it you will see it. Bottom line.

Now of course after the whistle blows all is fair game. :lol

Lets be clear. We aren't talking about a ****** like TO that was a cancer to the locker room. We are talking about a guy that came in and re-energized the franchise. Although they never won the superbowl with him, under his reign they had the best record in football.

(Yeah he came out in a Broncos Uniform, not a Redskins uniform, maybe your divisional rivals are not as hardcore as the NFC north with fans i dunno)
I will bet $ that he will be booed when he walks on the field. Now, it may just be a team by team thing, or a regional thing like you say. But again i doubt it. If i'm wrong i will stand corrected.

Again i don't think you are understanding my point. It don't matter what kinda person you are (ok maybe it does a little in the back of peoples minds i mean if you're a dog killer well.......) It just matters that in the name of the GAME that he's in a severe rivals uniform and it is of my opinion that he is now the enemy. And that's how Packers Fans and Viking fans around here see/saw it. Regional i dunno, but to state i'm wrong is well wrong. Cause maybe, it goes buy region who's to say.(different people different reactions) I think he should be booed in the name of the game, of friendly sportsmanship (lotta people don't get this anymore) not outta lack of respect.......Cause guess what? If a player has truly earned that, it can NEVER be lost! Cause the true Philly Don fans can still boo, and have fun, and still respect him at the same time is all i'm saying. (The only Packer fans that hate Favre now, are the fair weather ones, the true ones will always love him. And cheer for him now when they don't play the Vikings. I see it all the time around here. Packer fans and Vikings fans having fun together even though the hatred runs deep on Sundays. I hope you see that to in your part of the country.) When he walked out on the field at GB last year and was booed. Favre has a smile on his face, and winked to other Viking teammates cause he knew...he just knew. ("aka how dare you play for the VIKINGS YOU TRAITOR YOU LOL")

If he is booed, i wouldn't say it's a lack of respect and i stand by it. And don't you dare think it is a lack of respect if it happens.(unless you know philly fans better than i do :) I'm sure you do) (ALL in fun for the GAME, i know some sports fans take ____ too seriously but some out there still remember to have fun)

I hope it's a good game.

:peace

Care to put your money where you mouth is?

Keep in mind the stadium was half and half when TO came out in a Cowboys uniform.

There wasn't much more the Jets could do to Edwards without violating the CBA. If convicted, more punishment will come from the league. In the end, the punishment will be a smaller than expected contract at the end of the year when Edwards becomes a free agent.

To put this in perspective: what would your employer do to you if you got arrested for DUI?[/QUOTE]

Just a DUI, I'd probably get a day on the street, lose that day of seniority, and get a letter on my jacket. If I was on probation and got a DUI, no doubt I'd be walked out. I could get a lawyer and fight it and eventually get my job back, but I'd have to pay what was in my retirement back 100%. That means all the taxes and early withdrawal penalties that were taken off of the lump sum would have to be payed back. My point being, if I had done what he did, it would cost me a LOT.

I am going to go with you on this. I think they will cheer for him during introductions, but once the game starts they will boo like they usually do.

Were betting?

edit. Just read the post.

Yeah i will. But obviously there will be some cheers, i never said there would not be, just like with Favre. But i'm positive there will be boos as well. (as there should be, he's in a skins uniform) is all i've been saying. There's gonna be both, but to think there won't be any boo's is folly IMO. So if you wanna bet he won't be booed at all i'm down for sure. (PM me if interested)

I am thinking a mix during introductions. If i'm wrong i eat my words.

Sucks I'm going to miss this Sundays games as well. I'm rooting for this Skins.

Boy talk about back tracking. I will even raise the stakes and say he gets a standing O. Certainly there will be a minority of idiots that boo. However, the majority will treat him right.
