It's obviously sad news and terrible for his family and the NFL, but this should be a catalyst for the team and hopefully someone on par to a young Al Davis will step in and get the Raiders back.

i think the Vikes have a chance tomorrow.
I think it would be fun to do a weekly pick, make it interesting, just for fun for us freaks.

lets make some picks.

indy over KC, they just might win this one. its gonna be close but they might sneak by
giants are my lock for the week
upset, oakland over houston for Al Davis
a y not pick, SF over Tampa
Patriots over the Jets, just cause
I love my Bears but, Detroit over the Bears. Its their time.

We tried weekly picks last season....there were only 3 of us that did it, lol.

I'm so glad Redman is starting for the Steelers today! He is a much tougher runner than Mendenhall's Bin Laden loving rear-end. Mendenhall tries to do too many cuts or bounce it to the outside too much instead of running between the tackles. He's actually good in plays designed to go to the outside, but he lacks the toughness to just lower his pads and fight for 2-3 yards. Redman is the smaller back, but is mainly used in the Steeler's power role, and will take what's in front of him and usually gets some nice runs up the middle. And hopefully with Max Starks back and Lefursky playing Ben can get some better protection. Even with Kemoeautu out having Pouncey and Legursky in the middle should be enough. Just hoping for a W this week :(

I actually hoped Al Davis would live forever, it was good for my team.

As sad as it is to say it probably the thing for the team. He was great at picking players years ago but of late he has hurt the team more then help IMO.

PREDICTION

Arizona…17
Vikings….24

I will not sacrifice our principles. We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done!

:viking:viking:viking

Little worried about my Bucs today. Cross country, short week, SF playing well.... normaly a bad sign for Tampa. I just hope the Offense shows up today.

Atlanta's pass defense vs. Green Bay...

Green Bay - 101
Atlanta - 21

I still can't believe we beat them last year and then could have and should have beat them in the playoffs a few weeks later. I don't see a victory this year.

Haha, Carolina v. NO looks like two rival gangs going at it. Go Carolina even though you will loose.

AND WHY THE HELL!? did Carolina call a time out when NO didn't have time to kick that field goal?

Looked like they would have to many on the field if they snapped the ball. You screwed if you do screwed if you don't in that situation.

Any defensive coordinators out there looking for a job?

--edit: 50 seconds left, opponents are down by 3, with 3 timeouts left, and you go prevent defense. . .brilliant.--

It was just the Titans. But the Steelers looked a lot better today than they have so far this year. Even Rapistberger played well.

The offensive line stepped up considerably. They looked good today.

Once again, the Saints win despite a ____ defense and inability to score TDs in the red zone. Drew Brees orchestrates another 4th quarter comeback, but for most of the game they played down to their opponents just like last week.

Yep, spoken like a true Steelers fan.
