Blah blah blah. People can talk about stopping the Tebow. Lets see you do it. The rest of the NFL being "pass happy" gives the advantage to Denver. Teams aren't going to change their schemes and personnel for 1 opponent.

Looks like you're drinking the Tebow Kool-Aid. :lol

The sorry ass Vikings will get their chance on Dec. 4

Bring these back...

I am drinking the Tebow koolaid. At least so far as I know his strengths and weaknesses and have accepted them. I have no pretense that he's the greatest QB. With a killer defense behind him and a good run game, he will get it done.

For the uni's I agree the old ones are much better than the new, but man those old ones are so outdated now looking at them again.

The block letter "D" is pretty 70s.

I'll take the retro over modern new age junk anytime.

Speaking of which the Patriots need to bring back the minuteman guy hiking the ball helmet and the red jerseys.....

And while I'm at it, here's a note to Vikings marketing department:

Get rid of the dumbass jerseys with the white piping going down the sides and the butt-ugly upside down swoosh on the pants. UGH! :slap

Some of those older uniforms were pretty bad, though. I often thought that some teams actually seemed to play better after they got rid of them. I seem to remember posting a comment about it with 2 or 3 examples quite some time ago. I seem to remember that the Buccaneers with that guy with the feather in his hat was one of those examples.:)

Yeah, the Buccaneer winking at you was awful...:lol

Here are some old pics of Harold's and the Superbowl Party they had there for the Steelers/Cardinals.

This was the overflow tent set up next to the bar in a dirt lot that is normally the parking for the bar.

The actual bar

Some of the revellers

Outside they have a bunch of vendors...there were models selling beer and all kinds of good fun going on.

Another indoor shot. There were 4200 people registered to attend...3500 showed.

Edit - I am completely hoping to get to a playoff party here and get some more recent pictures!

Excellent photos DC! :wave

That's what an NFL rube fan is all about. And I'm proud to be a rube fan. :yess:

It reminds me of us 2,000 fans showing up at the Vikings draft party last year. We were having a great time until we chose Christain Ponder. About 300 fans left in disgust immediately. :lol:rotfl:lol

EDIT: Are you in any photos?

No...I was alone, and I didn't think to ask anyone to get a shot of me. Next time I will, though.

Parties like this are a blast!

The best part is you see Steelers Nation jerseys everywhere and then you see 2 guys wearing Arizona jerseys. :lol:lol

I was just going to mention that. There were about 1 in 50 Cards fans there. And when the Cardinals were winning their fans were excited, of course...but when the Steelers came back and won, I really felt sorry for them. There were two very nice looking female Cardinals fans next to me (yes, I know, shame on me for not getting pics), but they were crying at the end of the game.

NO!!!! Bad memories with those things. I cringe when they wear them for the throwback game every year.

Flying Elvis forever!
