Because from experience they aren't always good. I ordered a Cunningham one a year ago for $75. It had the new logos where the Jerome Brown patch should have been and no Eagles logo on the sleeves. It was horrible. :rotfl

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, I guess. The few times I have I've always ended up with good ones. To me though, it's worth the risk.

It always seemed like they had the Bucs, Saints, Lions and Bills on those videos. :lol
Yeah, that's right :lol

Why, what happened? I didn't see the game? :dunno
Last play of the game for the Chiefs, whatshisface tosses the ball into quadruple coverage, but Bowe was there and had a shot of catching it had he really tried. He jumped up, but didn't even raise his hands to attempt a catch. Instead, he left them down to protect himself from a potential hit and let the Steelers take over on downs to end the game. Just pitiful and embarrassing.

****** bag of the week goes out to Suh of Detroit. Man I never believed he was really a dirty player until that nonesense. What a ____! I heard his team took it to him hard on Friday. Good for them.
Yeah, he's an add duck because he's so well spoken, but is a real 'roid rage fueled thug on the field. Also, he straight up lied about why he did what he did, which is strange considering how obvious it was. He seems like a smart guy, but maybe he's really clueless when it comes to some things. I'm happy he'll probably be suspended during the Saints game, though, and frankly. . .I would want that guy on my team.

it's better than 0-16 lol
Not if they want to get Luck in the draft! At which point, they're spending money so they can try to get some small moral victories, but at the same time, so that they will have less of a chance of drafting the future of the franchise!

I don't understand the narrative that with Manning the Colts would have been SB contenders that some in the media have propagated.

Even with him they have the looks of a 7-9 win team.
They were definitely on the down slide last year. Clearly, they are a much much much better team with Peyton than without. But I don't know if they would be playoff contenders at this point without him seeing how bad everyone else is playing (despite the fact that the team is made to work around Peyton). Of course, that's impossible to really know.

What do you expect from a SEC player:rotfl

I dont think he really had a shot at the ball it was way behind him. I think the camera angle was deceiving that it was closer to him then it was in reality.

Really looking forward to MNF tonight. :rock

NY Giants
New Orleans

I enjoy watching Drew Brees and Darren Sproles play.

Speaking of which....why the Chargers ever let Sproles leave is beyond me. :slap That guy is a game changer.

They needed an everydown back and Sproles was getting to much $ to be a third down back.

Even worse, why did they let Drew Bress leave?

He was injured pretty badly at the end of the 2005 season. They offered him a contract that was mostly incentive laden, and short on guaranteed money. He moved on to NO, they moved on with Rivers.

Yep, an injury to his throwing shoulder that was not of a nature that anyone was confident it would come back as well as it did. They also had first round pick sitting in waiting and he hasn't exactly been a slouch either.

Brees was almost considered a bust for a while. If he never made it to NO he would be compared to Ryan Leaf.

:lecture And remember, before he went to New Orleans he met with Dolphins managemet about being their QB. Dolphins passed.

Think of how the fate of that franchise would look today if Brees had signed with Miami.

Rivers was the best thing that happened to him , it seemed to light a fire under him and was really good those last two years. Even without those two years and his time in NO he would still never Been close to Leaf in comparison. He was in his own class until few years ago when Russell joined him and probably moved to top of the class.

They took Culpepper instead.:slap

In reality I under stand the thinking, one had a knee injury and the other a throwing shoulder injury. Which would you think would be a better gamble.

I think that's true (as they just showed), but the bad offensive play is overshadowing that. Like that 3rd down on their last drive. Running back screwing up and tripping over his own feet when it was a guaranteed first down otherwise. And the pass earlier where the corner missed the INT, ball fell right into the guys hands, but. . .drop. And that QB. . .man. Reminiscent of those old NFL Films videos showing teams playing really bad, sloppy ball with Benny Hill type music in the background.

It always seemed like they had the Bucs, Saints, Lions and Bills on those videos. :lol

When I was growing up those videos were the only chances I ever had to see the Bucs play. And sadly those videos were how they played all their games back then.

I think a big part of his success was being paired with Sean Payton, though. The pieces just fell in place in the right place at the right time.

I've heard it said down here before that Coach Payton and Drew Brees "share a brain", and I agree. :clap

The Saints have brought it tonight, and will keep it going! :yess:

I probably think Culpepper. He was coming back from a shredded knee as opposed to an iffy shoulder. But here's the important part, Culpepper was coming off a historic 2004 season where he finished 2nd in MVP voting to Peyton Manning.

Brees shoulder was not iffy. He dislocated his shoulder and torn his labrum. Having dislocated my shoulder I can say coming back from that injury is not easy without the torn labrum.

Poor Saints and Bucs fans were tortured for decades. :lol

:lecture But you know what, you also have rings now.

The Vikings have an illustrious history but will always be remembered for being 4-time Super Bowl losers not to mention extremely painful losses in the '98 and '09 NFC Championship games. :monkey2:dunno:monkey2

What a GREAT scoring drive by the Saints! Brees with a rushing TD! :yess:

I love the earlier play where Drew didn't give up and got the pass off before the line of scrimmage. One of my favorite plays of the game so far.
