Brees doesn't pull off those Roethlesberger-type plays very much. Saints are really clicking tonight offensively. And for the defense to only give up 10 points so far is praiseworthy. They're giving up lots of yardage as usual, but not lots of points. I'll take it!

I really hope the Saints can continue playing this way for the rest of the night and moving forward. As you know Mike, they have a tendency to look like champs one week, and chumps the next. And the Falcons are keeping pace with the Saints pretty well.

Brees shoulder was not iffy. He dislocated his shoulder and torn his labrum. Having dislocated my shoulder I can say coming back from that injury is not easy without the torn labrum.

The funny part is even with today's medical technology, Culpepper's shredded knee was never the same again. A guy who could scramble suddenly lost his confidence and became immobile. Effectively, his career was over even though he bounced around to other teams.

Yeah, but this season they've been more "champs" than "chumps". They are showing right now they'll keep it up. Another great TD catch for the pylon by Jimmy Graham! Tom Coughlin has now used both of his challenges and lost both. Then losing two time outs because of that.

What's up with that last play? Rogue punter on the loose! ____ the play call! :lol

They were chumps against the Rams, though. I do not want flashbacks to last year's game against the Seahawks come playoff time :panic:

:lecture And remember, before he went to New Orleans he met with Dolphins managemet about being their QB. Dolphins passed.

Think of how the fate of that franchise would look today if Brees had signed with Miami.

There are quite a few things that could have been effected by that decision. Does Nick Saban leave after '06? Does Alabama have the same kind of program resurgence with a different coach? Does Tony Sparano get a HC job where he gets the Wild Cat to be an NFL flavor of the week? One decision so many variable outcomes.:panic:

I'll never call my team...."chumps". They had a bad game. A rough time. It was very disappointing that they lost to a "winless" team. Embarassing..yes. But I won't call the Saints chumps.

Yeah, don't remind me of that shocking Seahawks game. I never want to see re-plays of that long run by the Seahawks...ever...again.

...and I'll always be optimistic. Even in the bags-on-the-head "Aints" days....I kept a glimmer of hope. Then in 2009 the hopes and dreams FINALLY came true! :clap

That run is still amazing to see. As for replays I could go my entire life without seeing ever again. Two words: David Tyree.:cuss

OH....you just "HAD" to post that didn't you mfoga?!

Well, just because you put it up there KNOWING I didn't want to ever see it again....doesn't mean I will watch it. Good attempt at trying to get under my skin. But it's not going to work.

It wouldn't be right for me not to post this.:lol

I don't need Youtube to see it. NBC, Fox, CBS, ESPN and others love to stick the dagger in constantly. Hell, it was even in that Pepsi commercial earlier this year. It just can't be escaped.:lol

Hmmmm....I like that one! You see when old Brett stupidly threw that INT and my team picked it off....

It put the Saints one more play closer to the Super Bowl they won 2 seasons ago. :wave

 :slap

You guys, listen to this clip at the :30 second mark. Our radio announcer Paul Allen is just angry as hell. :rotfl

"This is not Detroit man, this is the Super Bowl" :rotfl

By the way mfoga, just for old times sakes I took out my sponge brick and threw it against the monitor. :lol
