Going for it on 4th isn't dumb in that situation its just the play call is. They haven't gotten a push against NY all day so that wasn't the best play call.

I like Mike Smith and all, but he is a terrible play off coach. Granted, the 2 teams he's lost to in the play offs made it to the Super Bowl, but it's not like they lost close games. The Giants survived their early jitters and came alive, while Atlanta still needs to wake up.

My assessment is they need to solidify their pass rush and secondary this off season. And Mike Smith, take the points in a what was still close game. The first 4th down try I could see, but the 2nd failure was all you bud! Could've made it 10-6 instead of what turned into 17-2 after that debacle.

So, I've been working. What's the deal with Atlanta's meltdown, or have they just been out played by NY?

The Giants do what they always do, whether they go into the playoffs by squeaking by or as the top seed, ever since Eli joined them, all they do is get into the playoffs and spoil it for the favorites year in, year out, Almost every single time their in the playoffs.

GB better watch it, I'm not saying they can beat Rodgers, but it's not going to be an easy ride to the SB if the giants are around for any team! :slap :gah:

Like I said , nobody wants to face a Manning in the playoffs!

Both teams came out lack-luster, but NY survived their early mistakes and made the necessary adjustments. Atlanta, not so much. Bad mistakes and coaching calls, and just seem not to be making the adjustments they need. That, and they just look defeated and seem to have just given up.
