Yeah, which is actually in direct violation of forum rules. That whole posting with the intent of "flaming" someone. People like you aren't worth the 5 seconds it takes to ignore, because you get pleasure out of that. I'll just be content telling you what you are and telling you how valued your opinion is. But of course, you're one of the ones who feels it necessary to reiterate how you're an adult. Quite funny, actually.
Not really as I will correct everyone only two of you seem to get your panties in a bunch when I say anything. Really you are flaming more then I am flaming you when you make stupid comments and name calling when I post.:cuckoo:

Nah, not really but I would like to congratulate you for this post....

but yeah I do get enjoyment of upsetting a couple people here.

No matter what happens to SF its nice to be back in and working back to being where we were for so long.

Ya know, I'm a big Brees fan (don't confuse that with a Saints fan, though) but the more I think about it, I think I find myself rooting for them Sunday. These guys were a joke last season, but here they sit with the second best record in the league and a 1st round bye right now, and are still the underdog? So let me say it for you, These guys are being disrespected, BIG TIME.

I find it hard to root against one of my favorite players, but I kinda want to root for these guys ...... I'll just consider this game a win-win in my book. Go whoever wins this game :yess:

Though they got the bye, the 49ers had the same record as the Saints. Just that the Saints had a worst divisional record. And the Saints losses were early in the season and a bit fluky (the Rams and Bucs were two of their losses :slap ). 49ers have lost as soon as week 14, and since then only beat a Steelers team with Roethlisberger playing horribly and no James Harrison, the Seahawks (by 2 points), and the damn bastard Rams.

Saints are riding a 9 game winning streak, and seem to be playing their best football right now. And of course, they've had a historically great offense this year by various measures.

So, I don't think the 49ers are being disrespected when folks pick the Saints in that game. Having said that, I can easily see the home field crowd, weather, and greedy San Francisco defense being enough to win this one. But I wouldn't bet on it. If the Saints can stop Gore and if San Fran can't get pressure on Brees, then I think the Saints wins this one handily.

No disrespect to the Saints at all. I'd honestly put Green Bay as slight underdogs against them, I just think it goes more in line with what do those guys have to do to get the respect they feel they should deserve? They didn't win pretty all season, but to me it was a glimpse of the great teams of the '70s with a stout D and strong running game. Probably why I find myself wanting to root for them. I honestly can't see anyone stopping Brees at this point. He is the MVP in my book. If he's out can the back-up step in an do what he's doing? Nope. Can Rodgers' back-up step in and do what he's doing? Yep, and he proved it week 17.

I see the Niners coming out and playing inspired because they do feel disrespected, much like the Brincos did Sunday night. Two things though. 1) Theyre not playing a broken, hobbled team like Denver did, and 2) I think the Saints learned their lesson last season in the WC round.

I think the game goes into the half close with San Fran possibly leading, but Brees is on his own level right now and you can't stop him for 60 minutes. Niners make a hell of a game of it, but my crack at the score is;

49ers- 26
Saints- 38

I hope the Giants win this weekend and play New England again for the Super Bowl because none of us should forget the arrogance of the Giants postgame lockerrom after they won in Foxburrow earlier in the seaons

I can definitely see Harbaugh trying to get his team motivated by using that kind of language. It is true that they got the bye but are picked to lose by Vegas, so there's something to back up that claim anyway.

I thought it was funny earlier in the week when there was some rumor that Payton was trying to hurt Smith in the pre-season by blitzing the hell out of him because Harbaugh didn't answer Payton's phone calls before then :lol But hey--whatever works to motivate your team :D

Yeah, they may be celebrating a bit too much for a regular season game that didn't significantly (at the time) affect their playoff hopes. But I didn't see anything offensive about it.

its bush league to do that in someone elses stadium like back then when ochociinco ran to the Cowboys star after he scored a touchdown and danced around it
