I don't know, kinda makes me wish I'd played pro football he's so good at slurping. But you gotta give him credit, he talks up guys you didn't even know played.

I just wonder what the deal was that Jaws got dumped.

They didn't want 2 football guys in the booth, so they opted to keep Gruden instead of Jaws.

Jaws will still be on their other NFL shows on ESPN.

retirement or outright cut?

Probably going to end up being a salary cap casualty that turns into a retirement. Ward has said nothing is official and that he'll be willing to work out his contract to stay a Steeler, but with Wallace, Brown and Saunders all becoming big threats in the passing game, and Cotchery expressing that he would like the Steelers to offer him a long term contract, things just don't look good for Hines. That's the thing about the Rooneys', they know when it's time to part ways with one of their star players and aren't shy about pulling the trigger.

The Mike Wallace situation in Pittsburgh bears quite a bit of watching. From what I've read the cap situation still isn't the greatest even with a couple of players already having restructured. The cap hit for a franchise tag would be $9.5 which could be too much for them.

Brady to Wallace has a nice sound to it....:D

Shhhhhhhh, if you don't talk about it, it won't happen.

Roger Goodell: "With the #3 pick in the 2012 draft, the Minnesota Vikings.....

have traded down"

Quite a few of the mock drafts I've seen so far have the Vikings taking Kalil.

Now of course they'd have to make sure to get that pick in the allotted 15 minutes. Good thing it won't be Mike Tice running things.:lol

Wishful thinking at best, but it's fun to dream.

I still shake my head at that '09 draft. Brandon Tate taken #83 overall. Wallace taken with the next pick.:gah:

Didn't NE try to say he was their "deep threat" after cutting Moss?

Wallace is good, and the 1st half of this past season he was great, but Antonio Brown really emerged later in the season and made a viable threat for that #1 receiver position. They know that, and so do the Rooneys, so I could see Wallace not getting what he wants and making himself open to other teams' offers. I'd look for, much like NFL.com reported earlier, Cincy or Baltimore pushing to acquire him. To spite Pittsburgh, and try to pump him for info on their offense. I can see Mikey leaving, but hopefully not within the division, and hopefully he thinks his best chance of getting a ring is with Pittsburgh and works a deal out with them.

Might happen. They could consider themselves in a sort of rebuild phase and trade #3 for multiple picks from another team. Half the time, I can't figure out some of these teams moves, anyway.

I don't remember them really saying that specifically. There probably was some hope, but by the end of the 2010 season he didn't really see the field very often aside from kickoffs. The offense had already started to morph into what it was this past season with short passes and emphasis on the TEs in the no huddle.

I was being sarcastic. There are 5 teams wanting to trade into the Rams #2 pick to get RG3. Redskins being one of them.

I could still see GM Spielman f'n it up and trading down.

I really should go to the draft again just to boo him. :lol

They are in a 2-year rebuilding phase hoping to compete for the playoffs in the 2013 season with a 10-6 record. I don't want the multiple picks unless if some team blows me away. Just get Kalil to solidify our line and protect Ponder for the next 10 years. :D
