They're certainly the odds on favorite. However, IF Malkin remembers how to play hockey, Fleury shows up, and Shero picks up some wingers during the off season, the Pens are still, at least in my mind, the team to beat in the East.
and quoting the Oilers in the same sentence with "making the playoffs" is also laughable.

Well, in all fairness to the Leafs, after finishing 29th, there's really nowehere else to go but up. Then again, the Oilers do still have their first round pick this year so, hmmmm, I might be speaking too soon.
We should start a pool... How many games will the Leafs lose before winning their first game? I'm going to guess 7.
There's an old sports expression that I generally go by... "Whoever gets the best player gets the best trade".
