The Flyers suck and so do the refs of the NHL. This favortism needs to stop! This is the only sport that I have ever watched where favortism played such a KEY role in the game.

I hope you never watch an Indianapolis Colts football game. NFL refs make their NHL brethren look great in comparison.

Man it is disgusting! Disgusting! Crosby punches someone right in the face and they are like "its cool its Crosby" hahahahaha! F the NHL!

Oh get over the Crosby and NHL love fest angle. So old and bleah. Do you realize how much Crosby gets abused in games? I think it's cool if he does get some aid, if he does. Heck, back in the old days there was a silent rule you couldn't touch Gretzky and if you did his entire team would destroy you.

No Semeko or McSorley protecting Crosby.

Oh the Crosby and NHL love fest angle is TRUE. So factual it's not funny. Do you realize how much Crosby gets favored in games? I think it's cool that he DOES get a lot of aid. Heck, back in the old days there was a silent rule you couldn't touch Mary-O and if you did his entire team would destroy you.

Good points.

I agree, the officiatiing it terrible in the NHL, that call on Hartnall at the end was phantom for sure, but I dont agree its with the Pens, they get there fair shake of bad calls all the time. Your also 100% right about your first point, the FLYERS do suck :D

Oh they are horrid this year. It's painful to watch. Now that Carter is out and they are basically on their 4th string goalie they don't have a prayer IMO.

What about Crosby's little punch to the face after the whistle? Of course no penalty on "the golden boy of hockey". LOL!

But yeah back to my point. I just don't get the ref's. I don't know why the league can't do something about it. It's horrible. It all depends on what side of the bed they wake up that day I guess. :lol

Crosby again takes on a lot of abuse, so if he does get some aid, good for him.

Also, reffing doesn't only suck at the NHL level. It's worse when you get to the AHL, and you, a follower of an AHL team should know this. Unfortunately, you accept it or just watch something else.

Oh I know. I still watch but I shouldn't have to accept it. LOL!

Eli - They are saying its looking like pens vs caps in Pitt for the winter classic this year. If its a definite I'm there. You should sell some stuff or start saving and fly into pitt for this.

Another frustrating loss.

I can’t understand Julien’s rationale in starting Thomas. This is the fifth time in eighteen starts that Thomas is pulled since 1/1. Immediate change in the team after Rask came in.

I feel bad for Krejci playing on a line with the invisible Michael Ryder and the equally as invisible of late Blake Wheeler.

Thomas looked miserable on the bench. Here’s hoping he waives that NTC this summer. Philly would be a great destination for him, but I’d rather see him go to the West.

Heh, offer me a place to stay and I am there. lol Fair and the ticket alone would cost me a pretty penny. Dare not think what it would cost for Hotels as well. lol

Is Tim Thomas Jim Carrey V 2.0? :monkey3

I could see that comparison, but I just see him as the next in the long line of failed goalies the Bruins have tried to have as #1 since Andy Moog.

Let's see off the top of my head we've had Jon Casey, Blaine Lacher, Bill Ranford, Carey, Byron Dafoe, John Grahame, Felix Potvin, Andrew Raycroft, Manny Fernandez, and now Thomas.

I believe they've finally found something special with Rask. I'm hoping 15 years from now the B's can thank Toronto for helping them to win a couple of cups with the Rask and Kessel deals.

With your damn temper who the hell would want to shelter you for an extended period of time? :lol

You are right. Hopefully we can get something good out of Toronto's first round pick coming up thanks to that Kessel deal. We need a legit scorer. The B's aren't putting up goals the way that they should be. The goalie situation hasn't been very good either. Let's hope Rask doesn't join that long list that you posted.

Sad but true.

On a side note I went to Verizion Center for my first Caps game on Sat! :rock

Wish I had a flames jersey to rock. :lol

This is a place Id love to see a game.

It was absolutely gorgeous. DC is a beautiful city and there was so much stuff going on. It was awesome to see how many fans were behind a hockey team versus our states Jackets.:lol Too many Ovi Jerseys to count.:lol

My bro got the tickets for free which was just icing on the cake.
