They're up to $9 at the Garden for a Sam Adams or Guinness. Thankfully there are tons of bars near the arena so you can do things on the cheap before the game.

First, never call it Beantown.

Right around the Garden I'd recommend The Fours, The Greatest Bar, and Hurricane O'Reilly's. There's also the Penalty Box which is kind of a dive, but is fun to experience.

unfortunately the Pens couldn't pull it off. however, Johnson made plenty of great saves that Fleury would never have made, and they got a point out of it. so it wasn't a total loss.

Don't even go there risingstar. At the end of the day it was only a shove. Yes, it was classless and very unprofessional, but it was just that... a shove. Who knows what the fan said, we can only speculate at this point. We weren't there. We just saw a video and we weren't subjected to the entire thing, by that there is also sound to that visual. Even if nothing was said, you're taking this a bit too far. If the fan did say something, it still didn't give Rypien the right to do what he did. Everyone goes through crap and carries some sort of issues. So lets not go there.

The way I see it is there are two different types of people. There are those who have seen a doctor and been diagnosed with something, and then there are those who haven't seen a doctor to be diagnosed. Can't be diagnosed if you haven't seen a doctor. It doesn't mean they don't have something because they don't carry a label with them. We're human after all. We all have something inherit in us, in a form of flaw and/or issue/imperfection. That's what makes us human. We all deal with crap on some sort of level. At the end of the day, what he did was in poor taste and wrong, but it's not like he seriously hurt the guy. I swear it's like you live in this perfect world where you or someone you have respect for hasn't shoved someone before. It's silly, it's like we're this perfect society. We're not. He made a ****oo, a big one considering his profession and how unprofessional he was, but not like any of us haven't done something we regretted. Yes, I truly believe he regretted it. btw Have no misconception, that was a ****** thing to do, but suing someone for a shove? Yes, the fan wants to take a legal position. If it was a buddy or some stranger off the street, no legal action would be taken, but ca$h cow, it's an NHL player and it's seen by millions now. Oi. If he had clocked the guy, sure. But geez. I mean I feel sorry for the fan, but we're making a Mount Everest of what really is a mole hill. By we, I am referring to the public and media.

Johnson has been unbelievable. How can you go back to Fleury when a guy has been this good?

well i was watching the first period of the nashville/tampa bay game while i wait for the devils. the predators were offering a buy 1 get 1 free ticket promotion. meanwhile the tampa bay fans were obviously asleep during the whole first period cuz i didn't hear a peep out of them. i could hear the players yelling to one another more than i could hear the fans. makes me wonder why they even put all those expansion teams down there in the first place. there is obviously not a big hockey following down there.
