Pretty boring game really. The US came out flat and really should have been blown out if not for the play of Jack Campbell.

Hopefully the gold medal game will be good. From what I've watched the tournament has been underwhelming for the most part this year.

My sense is that these older goalies are middle relief at best.
The Lightning should have gone after Halak who was available for practically nothing.

The Lecavallier trade is eventually going to bury this team in mediocrity by default. He barely averages as a 30 goal scorer throughout his career. There's no way the Lightning can keep everyone they have... No one will take Vinnie, they have to keep Stamkos, which means St Louis has got to go. As the Lightning are broke, they'll take prospects and draft picks. I'd take him for sure. Are ya listening, Pierre?

In the end, the salary cap will burn him.
He can't conjure up an extra 10 million to spend.

Roloson was solid tonight....looks like a football game broke out at the Consol Energy arena tonight, Pens are CRUSHING the Bolts, only to lose to the lifeless habs tomorrow 3-1.

I wonder how many of them will play in the NHL in the next few years.
