Now that fight brings back memories. PJ Stock didn't do much, but fight so of course he became a minor folk hero in Boston.

It was in no way a real hockey fight, but both guys arent fighters so it was nice to see some scorers drop the mits, and Malkin was the winner easily, even if he Nash nadnt fallen Malkin's would have won.

Dude you live in Toronto, you havent seen real hockey since 1967, ahahahah, sorry cant help myself I loathe the Leafs

I can't even call that a win, it wasn't even a real fight IMO.

We've had some really good exciting hockey here in Toronto from 92 onward...Who was your last ____ty Captain? Koivu? pffftttt!.

I hate the Habs, but hate the Leafs more, enjoy missing the playoffs again this year and handing over another top pick to the Bruins :nana:

Yea, he took three shots..you ____ies are making it sound like he got filled in.

Valfar, you know I know my stuff when it comes to the game, so don't even put it into question my knowledge. I would level you bro. The guys are right, it was a win for Malkin, at the point it was called off. In any fight, if there is no referee coming between two combatants, separating them, we would probably in many case scenarios have a different end result. Some fights may have gone on for much longer. We'll never really know with some fights. Most often we do, because the guys tire out, and they pretty much let the refs know they had their fill. Other times the fights are ended prematurely. But at that point, in that particular fight, Malkin was the clear cut winner.

And of course there will always be better fights, but to use a better one as an example is not fair. Or else someone can say the Patrick Kane Stanley Cup series game winner doesn't count worth snot, because it's not the best goal ever. That's not fair. Nobody is saying that Malkin would take Nash the next 9 times either. Simply put, Malkin won a fight against Nash.

Was it long? No. Was it pretty? No. Was it a great fight? No. Was Nash not really into it? I Have no idea. Was he taken off guard from the blows? Again, I am not Nash or Malkin, so I can't speak for them, but Malkin took to Nash and won that battle at the point of separation.

Good day sir.

Another exhibit of why Toronto sucks

The top story is Cito Gaston and the ____in ____ty Toronto Blue Jays

NO ONE GIVES A ____ ABOUT THE JAYS!!!!!!!!!

Gionta being named Captain of the most storied NHL Franchise, is second fiddle to this craptastic sports franchise, that cant draw 20000 fans a game gimme a ____in break

Excuses. All I saw was two guys pairing up knowing very well what they were getting into and the end result was Malkin was pummeling Nash blow after blow. The fact is he lost that fight. Doesn't matter if he loses his footing... he was caught off balance because Malkin made him lose balance. A fight is a fight and Malkin took this one.

That's what I said and why it was a clear cut reason why Malkin kicked his butt. Having said that, and the fact Malkin beat Nash into submission, I would take Nash over Malkin in a rematch.

Choke on a baguette.

Cito is awesome, and we have a really good team.Jose Bautista leading the majors in HR's and is the 26th player in league history to have a 50 HR season, now tied with George Bell for the club record(55HR).

Montreal Expos :World Series Championships: None :lol

And deservingly so that the news of Gionta being named Capt is second, you _______s are just going to hustle him anyway for years for not being a Frenchman or not learning Francais.

The only walk off homerun in MLB history to win a World Series...

Yes I do have nuts and at that point he did kick Nash's ass because Nash was the one taking the lickin'.

If Malkin kicked his ass, Nash would have been falling all over the ice after the fight and rocked all to ____..that was not a ass kicking, no way..how is three shots a ass kicking?.

Your right man, Toronto the city of Champions, lets take a look at them

Leafs - do I even need to say anything, let me know when they make the playoffs

Jays - 92 last time they made the playoffs, yes they won and were a great team, but that was 18 years ago and they have been out of it at the all star break ever since, and now not only are the Yankess ahead of you along with the Red sox, but now so are the Rays so your stuck battling for fourth every year, solid

Craptors - ever make it past the second round??? Soon as there talent sees an opening they bolt, Stoudemire, Tmac, Vince and Bosh. Soon they will be joing the Grizzlies

Argos- there are 8 ____in teams, and when was the last time they were even in the Grey Cup?

Toronto FC - hahahahah, Didnt they lose every game in their first season??

:nana:

I would like to see Montreal offer its full starting line up this weekend.
These beatings they're taking are starting to bug me.... lol

Hey Maxipad answered the bell last night, not bad for him.

At least he didn't cover his face like he did last year...
Yeesh, how embarassing was that?

SOme of his actions are down right pathetic. I have no problem with the pests of the league but they all drop their mits when needed, this guy hides behind his goalie.

Going to be in Buffalo for tomorrow's pre-season vs. Philly and I'll be in the building for all regular seasons games and hopefully for more during the playoffs! New Jerseys can't wait!

Let's go Buffalo! 40 years of sucking!

It takes more than a goalie to make a winning team. Philly will win again.

On the subject of goalies, Leighton's already hurt.:rotfl:rotfl
