Thankfully, playing golf does not require team defense.

I don't know what the hell is going on. Fleury played like ass, horrid turnovers, and yeah.. team defense or lack thereof. I think England has actually been our most steady, considering he didn't play in last years playoffs that is saying something. Orpik had some good hard hits as usual, but he's been out of position multiple times as well.

I guess this is what happens when all of the so called "experts" pick your team to go all the way. Thanks guys... :slap

I dont think ive ever been angrier, Im still mad from last night

They lose this series and a change will happen

My freinds were all laughing at Flower last night, saying hes the best/worst goalie of the league.

Tomorrow is a must

Jose Theodore was unbelievable in net yesterday. Devils could have had 10 goals in the 26 shots they took in the first period. Three shots got by him out of the 26 shots but that was not a testament to the way he played against my Devils.

I think your Devils will go far man, at least the conf final

WOW

Eli, how was Fleury's play tonight? But hes the reason we got this far with all those wins, right?

We score 5 goals and lose?? Whats wrong here? At least 3 tonight he should have stopped and obvioulsy Lovejoy is the goat for his gift

Flyers buried every chance, kudos to them. This will be a short series I think

Deeznutz, how was the other lines play from Crosby and Malkin... Where was Crosby after that first period? Or the defence for that matter, or the coaching? Or the fact we took a lot more penalties this game, which saw them capitalize multiple times. Or the fact Giroux was allowed those 2 short handed goals, not only by Fleury, which is the second, and the final defense, but the first line of defence which is your skaters. Seriously, you're going to fault just one player? :dunno

I know afterward you brought up the D after someone brought it to your attention, but geez.... get over it. For all those games he let in those 5 or more goals, he also has won us a Cup and stole that game for us against Detroit in Game 7 in 2009. Or the year before he went .933 in the entire playoffs. We didn't lose because of him in 2008, we lost because Detroit had an easy time shutting down the primary offensive line that was Crosby's. because in the last two rounds of that season, Malkin was invisible. He had 4 points in his final 10 games. The following year they won the Cup because Malkin and Crosby both showed up, and it's harder for a shut down line to shut down two monster centermen when both of their lines are going. You should know better. But I agree, Fleury has been weak in these playoffs, but I wouldn't trade him either. Their is a lot of factors playing here, and it's not just the D and Fleury, or how you would have it be, all on the Flower. Same goes for you Craw.

He certainly lives up to his last name :lol Great goalie!

I play goalie myself, and watching Quick has caused me to literally either say out loud "holy ____", or just go "wooowwwww" numerous times.

And it's not even big saves, or stuff you'd normally notice, unless you're just watching him. Which I've started doing in games 1 and 2. If the puck is in the Kings' end, I just watch Quick. His lateral movement and recoveries are just things of beauty.

He's also much more interesting to watch. He plays a pretty strict butterfly, but isn't as robotic as most of the current crew from the Quebec butterfly school.

No matter how this one ends I've gotta hand it to the Caps, they've had an annoyingly effective poke-check working for them and have blocked a ton of shots. The Bs have struggled to get many clean shots off.

Holtby has shocked to this point. We saw last year he could play, but this is surprising in the playoffs.

It's a combination of strong play from Holtby thus far and a somewhat surprising strong showing from the defense. Dennis Wideman made a great play in the first OT, to keep Seguin from what probably would've been the winner. If they keep up the poke check and shot blocking they've been doing in front of Holtby they'll have a shot.

That said, I'll stick with Bruins in 6.:)

I agree the whole team has contributed to these distastrous collapses. But yesterday Flower let in some questionable goals and didnt have one key save like he did in game one. At the end of the day he gets paid to stop pucks and paid alot and he needs to start doing that when it counts. The difference in 09 vs 08 is he limited the crappy goals. Go back and watch 08, yes the WIngs shut down the offense but Flower didnt steal any games. In 09 the offense was rolling, defence was stellar (Eaton/Scuderi/Gill/Gonchar/Orrpik/Boucher) and Flower didnt have that many bad games (only 1 in the final- the 5-0 drubbing where he got pulled).

Tomorrow everyone had to play better on the defensive side of the puck and him most of all or they will be golfing next Sunday
