Is that real? :lol Damn I hate the Nucks and I'm glad they lost. Go Aves next year!!!

You gotta love the playoffs. All these people who don't even show their face in this thread all year seem to come out of the woodwork to start talking ____.

Who gives a ____ about that? Like Eli says, playoff hockey is a completely different game. I keep up with scores and reports; not showing up in a hockey thread on a toy forum doesn't really say anything on anyone's fandom, but I actually watch games come April. And with half the ____ing league making the play offs, I think the NHL knows the play offs are the bread winning part of the business at the end of the day.

With that said, Go Flyers (Giroux is a beast) And lol @ Vancouver.

If the Caps lose this game 7 then this current core will have lost 4 game 7's in the last 5 years. Flyers, Pens, Habs and Bruins.

I'm a Flyers fan but I don't think we'll get past the second round if goaltending remains shaky. The Pens/Flyers series was more competetive than the score or final games won reflects. I just don't think they'll be getting 8 pucks past Lundquist or Tim Thomas every night. Bryz is a head case and he could go either way on any given night so once again, goaltending is a question mark during the playoffs. Hopefully the long rest will give them time to regroup.
I also don't buy into the old fashioned Broad Street Bullies reputation. The Flyers are a skilled team. With players like Giroux, Jagr, Read, Carle, and Briere they are hardly bullying anyone. Christ, you would think Clarkey was still taking faceoffs. NHL fans claim that Philly fans live in the past but that is exactly how the NHL looks at the Flyers. Maybe a cup in the next few years will change that thinking. Just don't think it will be this year.
And just because I don't post here everyday doesn't mean I'm a bandwagon jumper.

Love the ending. Flyers are not a bunch of acting goons like the golfers they just eliminated.

True, Pronger and Grossman are out. :lol Then again, you do have Rinaldo. Hmmm..... Maybe you should rethink your statement.
