The more I think about last night, the more I think Tim Thomas has played his last game as a Boston Bruin. I don't know what kind of market there will be for a 38 year old goalie. Maybe one of the losers of the Luongo sweepstakes?:huh

You need to be more specific here, because the "loser" in the Luongo sweepstakes will be the team to give up valuable pieces to get him.

:lol As far as playoffs are concerned you are right. On the bright side maybe they'll be right in contention for the prestigious President's trophy.

I heard a radio interview with Luongo's brother of all people the other day. He seemed pretty convinced that his brother is heading to Tampa based on his Team Canada connection to Stevie Y and the fact that his wife is from Florida.

I don't understand all the Thomas bashing, yeah I hate the guy but he's still a solid contender, better than a number of goalies in front of the net currently. Boston's biggest problem was their offense.

I'm surprised Toronto and Montreal fans aren't claiming him already.

Thomas' time in Boston has run its course. Rask is capable and ready to be the starter. If they can move Thomas quickly enough I'd love to see them be players for Zach Parise.

As for the offense, it never was the same after Horton got hurt. Julien kept jumbling the lines around, but never found something that stuck for more than a few games. The power play was abysmal and really has been since Cooke took Savard's head off back in '10.

I agree here, Boston's offense was non-existent throughout round one. I think they really missed Nathan Horton.
