Re: 2013 NHL Season

I feel like the Bruins are playing with house money right now. A win would seem like absolute robbery if they can pull it off.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

The tell tale sign of a great team is how they play in the final 20 mins.

Man how can anyone not believe in Boston after this game. How fitting that they've been in so many marathon games these playoffs.

GRADE A HOCKEY by both teams. Fantastic.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

****ing Seidenberg. Stopped skating, allowed that to stay in the zone...game over.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Great game..not if your a bruins fan.. But an exciting hockey game..just glad my hawks came out on top. Crazy series

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I may never make the big NHL bucks, but there is something very rewarding about knowing that my glove hand is, without a doubt, better than a goalie playing in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Didn't catch the game tonight but glad Chicago won and the series is now even. It's gonna get fun now. :rock

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Outstanding Game and Series! I never thought I'd see so many goals in a single game between the Hawks & Bruins. There's no question in my mind that the right two teams are in the Final.

Coach Q's line change-ups seemed to help last night and the Hawks looked more at ease on the ice with a lot more shooting (47 shots I think). Every player had a shot on Rask except Leddy who only played like 2 minutes. It was nice to see goals from Sharp, Kane & Toews in the same game for a change.

Can't wait for game Five!:yess:

Crazy flooding going on in Calgary. It was reported that the water is up to row 14 and getting close to the luxury boxes. The jumbotron and other equipment are already junked.

That sucks, but is it just the stadium or the area, hopefully homes aren't hit too bad- I went through the flooding from hurricane sandy, only finished putting the last new piece of Sheetrock up a few days ago--and I got off light compared to most people I know. Flooding sucks.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Saddledome is destroyed. Least of Calgary's problems. Still, this is an NHL thread... Having said that, wondering what that means for the Flames in 2013/14.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I hope people stay safe in Calgary, nature is a powerful force, no doubts about that.

Canucks are pretty screwed if Torts is signed. He was spotted at YVR today, whisked away in a black SUV for another meeting with the Aquiloonies:slap

They could go to Saskatchewan. Saskatoon made a presentation to the NHL recently, but the Credit Union Centre is pretty small. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure about Regina and their arena for the Pats, but if they're in a pinch, that'd be better than being a nomad for a decent to large part of the season.

Of course the people in Alberta have more pressing things to worry about than the Flames right now.
