Caps have done NOTHING!!!! The rest of the division is making moves and getting better, yet we do nothing! GMGM is gonna be in for a rude awaking, we aren't in the southeast anymore, ugh!!!

I can see the frustration. Martin Erat for Filip Forsberg, was a horrible trade. And he let Ribeiro walk without responding with a replacement. Derek Roy was the most natural fit for that job. Would have been a nice signing IMO. Also a few years younger than Ribs.

Yeah it's terrible. It's gonna be a bad BAD season coming up. I mean the team at present is worse then the team that got bounced in the first round, add a new tough division......it's gonna be a long year, but if it ends with GMGM getting fired.....ugh.....I could almost be happy...

Yeah, but at least they aren't in arguably the toughest division in the league. I actually am really high on the Jets, they have some good young players and honestly should have made the playoffs last season.

My friends. As you may or may not know I'm out of the toy collecting business and decided to take a trip back to the game worn business.
I scored some pretty sweet game worns: TJ Oshie, Ryane Clowe, Michael Ryder, Dainius Zubrus, Mark Fayne, Mason Raymond rookie, Andy Greene and the Ryan Carter jersey from the famous line brawl between the Devils and Rangers in 2012. Over and out!

I scored some pretty sweet game worns: TJ Oshie, Ryane Clowe, Michael Ryder, Dainius Zubrus, Mark Fayne, Mason Raymond rookie, Andy Greene and the Ryan Carter jersey from the famous line brawl between the Devils and Rangers in 2012. Over and out!

Well, Rask's 8/56 contract is now official. I was hoping they'd get him for million less, but oh well. I'm sure the tidbit about a full NTC/NMC that Uncle Peter loves to give will come soon.

Kovalchuk had 12 years remaining on that contract.

More importantly, the Devils can now void the remaining $77 million left.

Funny how we blow off the significance of a superstar in his prime who signed the most lucrative contract in NHL history, retiring. A guy who led the playoffs in scoring two years ago. But yeah, it's just another day of hockey news.

He's 30 and has averaged 42 goals per season.

I don't feel sorry for him. He's retiring...right. He's going to get just as much in the KHL and some people are reporting he'll be making even more.
