We have too many of these small types already. Desharnais, Gionta, Bouillon, Plekanec, Gallagher, etc....and now Briere. Bergevin and the 7 dwarves !
Will be 36 by the time the season starts and he's slowed down quite a bit.

Briere is one of my favourite players in the league and I was really saddened that the Flyers bought him out. I'm bummed he went to the Habs though. I ****ing hate the Habs.

Horton has absolutely no intention of going back to the Bs. He want's to play in a smaller market.
Bruins got Loui Eriksson who is a phenomenal player.
Now that Seguin is gone, I wonder if Boston would really let Horton go... I'd love to see him in a Leaf's uniform. Especially since we bought out that bum Grabovski

Yeah, Horton already told the team he wasn't coming back. They never made him an offer either so I don't think they were all that interested in bringing him back.
No Alfredsson for the Bruins either, it sounds like he's headed to Detroit.

Maybe Alfie just wanted to get a jump practicing with his Team Sweden teammates before Sochi?
4/13 for Ference in Edmonton. Crazy contract, but good for Andy. I hope he does well.
As for Horton, good for him finding a market that he'll be comfortable in and get paid well. The fans/media in Columbus probably won't notice when he frequently takes nights off and disappears for months at a time.
